91,2w updating engine suggestion?

Hey everyone i have a 91,2w wagon that's automatic(stock). nothing really wrong with it besides a stripped spark plug...thinking on spoiling myself with my tax money and updating the engine a little. or saying fuck it, sell it and buy another wagon? needing suggestions?!?
