'90 Grey Wagon Aloha from Hawaii!

I picked up this wago awhile ago back in august, I posted up an ad in craigslist since my uncle got me interested into wagovans ever since mentioning it. So someone emailed me about their wagon and the couple offered $1200, it was a bit high due to the condition but I was already itching to have one asap and so I got it. The wago has dings, dimples and dents as well as rustholes on the right rear fender and right next to the tailight. Well that didn't matter since I fell in love with the thing lol and it's a chance for a 17 year old junior to learn how to do bodywork and be enthusiastic about cars xD I'm not mechanically inclined so I learn from my uncle who's a mechanic and owns a '92 DA. I also own an EK, I'm still in high school so this project will take some time, I also paid for both cars with my own money with a little help from my mom and uncle for the cheap insurance.

How'd your HVAC line up with the dash swap?

Our founder did one many years back. But little info is available, and I always wanted to do one myself.

    Like the chalk hood too!

The thing fit perfectly except for the windshield defroster, the crx was too short and couldn't reach the winshield so since I needed the vin from the old dash I just swapped that and bam it fits lol but the swap was hard so I had to snap some parts of the dash and destroy the old wagon one :hopelessness:, the center console sits an inch higher than regular but it wouldn't matter if its manual or if you can weld the exhaust tunnel a little higher (this is what I learned from rhdrob on ig)

Thanks, that was inspired by the guy who owns a purple wagon here in Hawaii and the one who took a pic of the DA
