just found some rust

in Rides & Builds- Civic wagons
just like the title says, i found some rust on my wago. It was bubbling from the inside, behind the paint. Didnt know it could do that. Im not done clearing out the rust but when i finish i dont know how it could repair this. Can i use body filler? Any tips or info will be greatly appreciated.

    I am still in the middle of this problem! Excessive amount of body filler will crack and fall out over time. I am going to have some new metal welded in, then treat the affected areas with POR-15.

    From there I will use body filler to smooth out any remanning imperfections. Thread I started

    Most Honda rust comes from the inside, I think you just have to get a quote from a body shop or a friend who can weld. Cheap fixing is only making things worse in the future.
