Hey guys my name is Mike. I've been looking for a fun dd while my Mazdaspeed6 gets its engine built for track duty. I'll be purchasing a 88-91 Civic RT4wd 6spd. As you can tell I cant give up my AWD.
As any of my cars I wont be able to just leave it stock. I have plenty of experience with FI applications, but every platform has its in's and out's. I'm here to learn more about the d16a6 and if it'll fit my needs. I've been searching for a few days on here as well as H-T and D-series, to get ready for my rt4wd.
Once I get the car up to par, I plan on doing a MPFI and OBD1 conversion. I want to keep it SOHC and non-Vtec. I'm still searching on what the "simplest" way to go about this (convert d16a6 or drop in OBD1,MPFI D-series if that exist). I plan to build the block and head and put some boost on it and use an AEM ems, nothing insane. The details aren't all hashed out yet and I know I'm missing some info, but I'll get there eventually.
