Slow Chicago build.

Hey guys, just a little a history that lead up to me purchasing my wagon.

My first car was a 2002 wrx wagon and loved every minute with it. I didn't plan on selling it but after a freak accident and totally destroying my knee, I needed surgery.
I'm still in recovery mode and just recently started to walk again. So I sold the wrx because of cost in maintaining it without having a job is way to expensive. (premium gas, insurance, and parts) I love wagons so I came across this wagon on craigslist and was listed as rust free.
Rust free Honda in the Midwest is needless to say very rare! Especially a wagon. So I met with this guy, and found out the whole car was plasti dipped. I wanted to make sure the paint was good bit I couldn't just start peeling it off. So I took a leap of faith and bought the car. On the way home car breaks down, distributor was shot, so I needed tow.
Got it home started peeling the plasti dip and this is what I found. The previous owner painted the front bumper but ignored the rear which is a bit odd but whatever.

To do list: Get it running
Raise the car, previous owner slammed the hell out of it. Ride is terrible.

Thanks guys.

Just a quick update, I raised up the car about two inches in front and about three in back. It rides so much better! I also decided to give the car a much needed cleaning, I did my best but I plan on sending her to get detailed in the near future. Like I said on my previous post, the whole car was plastidipped. I did my best taking off the big parts off but the small spots and over spray were a pain. I also did some engine bay cleaning. I forgot to take an engine bay before picture (fail) but trust me it was filthy. But anyways thanks for looking and let me know what you guys think. -Mike 1033.jpg 1034.jpg 1035.jpg 1036.jpg 1037.jpg 1038.jpg 1039.jpg Picture of my pup hangin' out. lol1040.jpg

Just wanted to revive this thread. The car is still running strong, I had to fix a couple of electrical problems. I'll soon post pictures of the car in this nice spring weather!
