but its been my experience that 1990-93 integra set up would work allot better
But would a 1990-93 Fit a B20B engine? I am using a b16a transmission. Also can you please tell me why a 1990-93 integra set up would work alot better?
ive had both setups in civic hatchbacks. as long as the metal dust seal was removed from the spindles, i had no problems either way. just make sure the transmission seals you use are for the corresponding axles(90-93 or 94-01). i believe the drivers side was different.
Basically what we are saying is make sure your drivers side axle matches the intermediate shaft. On the 90-93 the inner part of the axles is male, where the 94+ is a female end, so if you have the wrong intermediate shaft you'll either have a gay set (both male ends) or a lesbian set (both female ends). Also, make sure you have the right seal in the trans, I ran into this problem on my brothers DA - the different series also run a different diameter axle seal in the trans. Just a heads up.
The passenger side (usdm) axle for 90-2001 integra are all the same part number. The driver side has to match the halfshaft because the 90-93 halfshaft is female and the 94-01 halfshaft is male. Both set-ups work just fine.
Missed the post where this was already mentioned, my bad.
