Crossmember from a non-power steering CRX 91 to a PS 91 4WD Wagon

Hello, I want to delete my power steering on my 91 4WD EDM Shuttle. Last time I did this it was on my 1.6 4.gen sedan and it didn't work out. I just unplugged the oil lines and the steering rack got "loose" and the steering was terrible and dangerous.
A friend has a CRX donor without the power steering. Would the crossmember fit directly to the shuttle? I know that steering racks are different and also the crossmembers for non-PS to PS.

    I think that the crossmember will fit. Try it and remove all doubt!

    I just don't want to do 2days work at a friends garage just to find out. We will put the car on the lift and inspect and measure both, probably good enough :)

    it will fit.
    i did this, just the other way around. I added PS to my Wagon from a Civic Sedan.

    You can just switch out the rack, not the whole cross member?

    As far as I know, the PS rack is a bit thicker. Also, I hit a kerb and my crossmember is not straight any more. So I might as well delete the power steering while I am at it :)

    He did this in one of his wagons. Can't remember which one. But I know he did and detailed what it took.
