didnt find a wagon...HATCHBACK

so, After three months of searching I just couldnt find a wagon in the condition i wanted that the owner was asking less than $3000.
There were weeks where i checked the whole east coast of craigslist and many weeks where i just checked near me 3-10 times a day . However when i found this brown hatchback that was a grandmothers and was garadge kept i had to jump on it, the only place on the car that shows any wear and tear is on the side of the drivers seat from getting in and out for 20 years! Im hoping to have a nice cassual build as time passes, not too expensive cause my future is looking prety hectic xD.

so, pictures coming soon guys, ive earned the nickname 'anal' from my family because of how much attention my hatch is getting haha, i waxed her up and painted the honda on the mudflaps, there isnt a spec of rust on this 89, but i found a nasty clump of dirt and sticks behind my mudflaps, I painted the fadded window trim and the little circles for my rear window hinges, my wiper arms , changed my blades ,back to black on my bumpers and armor all scrubed my interior... im proud of my minty little hatchback!

Nice!! I have a love for that color! I had one as well. mine had a armrest, console, and pods, all in brown. that's why I bought her haha

do the pods just replace the pieces that are there now? the pieces with the tray spot to set stuff? and the cargo cover still works as regular? i always asumed i couldnt use/get them...:p

I am not a fan of the tan... But, my blue 89 dx hatch is probably my favorite... I am using a tan hatch to make a hatch trailer.

The rear speaker mounts for a hatch screw over the little tray areas & the wires are already run and are located behind the plastic side covers, you just need extensions to the actual speakers. New speaker mount kits actually come with little extensions.. Let me know if you have trouble finding a set.

Today I washed and waxed! its the second coat , only a week ago I did the first, I have a feeling the oldwoman never had the elbow grease to really car for the car so theres alot of gentle build up in all the hidden areas, at least she never left it n the rain :] more pics?

So!, alot has hapened, i got that stuff to do the pads for the dash, and i painted my trim and bumpers, also got a ranger lip and some very sweet speakers

i photoshop'd it, i thought itd be a cool idea to actualy paint, i got a set of steelies that arent so great, figured i could make a cool looking set of winter wheels, but im getting no support from my family hahah so i prob. won't.

Ah, now I know it's photoshopped I can see the seam between images. It'd be a lot of work to paint a set of wheels like that I think you'd be guaranteed to be the only one with a set like that! You've got my support, lol!

My brother actually bought a 5 speed trans and might be getting rid of his hatch, id love to do a swap but i doubt its as soon as i could hope, Ive got a baby on the way so odds are a project that big is on hold for about a year :P

SO today i went to the junk yard got the crx wheel i was looking for and a second rear view to mess with (stickered it), got a much better brake master cilinder, my brakes fade, and ive got those tokicos....oh! i got rain gaurds and installed those bad boys

you should know that this wheel came off a civic hatch si , and not a crx....
