Hell yeah! I bet you're stoked. I'm stoked for you! Looks like you stayed with the standard 6k/7k springs, I think you'll find you'll need to run your dampeners at their highest setting (tightest) if you run your wagon low. It feels like a caddy on the lowest setting...tons of squish. I'm still waiting on a replacement damper screw thingy from Godspeed. One of mine didn't click, it just turns like it's screwing in and out and the whole thing pops out so I don't think I'm actually adjusting the damper at all. Pretty lame, but they are supposedly sending a replacement part that should be easy to swap in. Luckily I think it's set to the hardest setting for now which is what I want.
Hey Saxxon, whichever kit you get make sure it is bottom adjustable like the Skunk2 Pro kit so that you can try and avoid smacking your shock tower with the top of the arm/ball joint. You don't want the ones with the bolts sticking up, those can puncture your shock towers if they hit hard enough. I'm running the Skunk2 Pro kit and even pulled out as much as I can (-1.8) I still hit shock towers on decent bumps/dips. If you don't wanna raise your car you can cut out the part where it's hitting like Pavementwago did and then weld back in a plate with more clearance, just be careful as that area is a main structural area.
I'm sure you've already heard this but just in case you haven't and you're wanting to go lower remember to remove your bottom 1 or 2 locking rings depending on drop wanted. I removed 1 from each coil over. I'm hoping that it's just the picture being weird or light flair or something....but what's up with your wheel lip in the last two pics of the XXR's? They look like they are scratched up. I vote to toss those center caps in the trash and find cool replacements:) I like the gold LCAs, I just painted mine flat aluminum.
Thanks alot I'm so excited i can't wait to get the wheels on tomorrow and ill get some pictures posted tomorrow as soon as I do and there ain't no glare I had the wheel standing up and the dang thing fell over of coarse on that side so... It scrached it up but lucky I work in a machine shop so maybe I can polish it out, it ain't real bad picture makes it look worse lol I'm just ready to see what, its going to look like
Here it is got the wheels on it finally and i looks amazing, i love it still havent got the ride hight adjusted like i want it cause this is my dd but still got to set my camber to but thats for tomorrow along with rolling the fenders but all in all it looks great even at this ride height :P so you all tell me what you think, up for any suggestions or opinions.
Man that stinks about the wheel getting scratched, I would have flipped my shit lol. Good thing you work in machine shop, I have my fingers crossed that you can polish that out. Congrats on getting the wheels/tires on the wagon! Looks great, and just in time for a holiday cruise. Will look even better when you get your rear camber pushed a bit more positive. Be sure to roll/pull your front fenders real well as to try and avoid what both ledler0321 and I did. When leaving a driveway or dip in reverse and turning the wheel, the tire tread can catch the lip of the fender, grab it and bend it in. As for center caps, I'm not sure the size of XXRs. I know my Rota centers are 2.5" across, and 2" electrical conduit covers from Home Depot fit perfectly and only cost $1 each. You can take a measurement and then try and find OEM Honda center caps of the same size. I've heard that possibly Odyssey or newer Accord ones may work. Not sure if the wagon is sitting a little uneven but it seems like the front right is higher than the front left, and also seems like the camber of the right rear wheels is positive in camber while the rear left is way negative? I'd personally like to see less gap in the front right. I run my front camber at -1.8 and my rear at -.8. Looking forward to seeing how things turn out, great start. And happy 4th!
