I dont see the point, why not just find a rt?
  • Probably because there is sentimental value in the wagon he has now.. I think its pretty awesome, might be able to find parts from a donor in a pick apart..

Id like to see the progress

Too true! I love my wagon, but part of me always wishes I had found an rt instead.

Looking forward to this build. Was considering the same on my 2wd.

The parts will be hard to find, you should prolly look for a entire parts wagon, good luck though! I think it a cool build, (sleeper) :)

this. this is exactly what you need to do. find one that somebody has wrecked and that will leave you with everything.
  • I have the full swap all parts from a wagonist named(1988rt) its gonna be done by Friday all goes well! And yes the resonance for swap is I love my shell! And no rust! Engine bay is super clean! Will post pics and progress!

I am a wagon nut and have parts up the wazzu  the only thing i had to wait for was the shift cables and shifter

If you can, try looking for a 89-91 tranny. They have the bigger output shaft. Especially if you want to turbo and get a better clutch.
