I got one step closer to being done and it feels so damn good! finally got to see the color sprayed and im in love! you cant really see the pearls in the pictures but when you see it in person its magnificent!
i was originally planing on getting some wider wheels for this sumer and going "stanced" but ive decided to go more along the lines of flush. im doing this cause im sick and tired of camber wear and i want this car to still be functional but it will still be low as fuck. so i changed it up a bit and painted the bolts in my wheels gold. i think it looks 10x better and will have a nice contrast with the color of the car. the car should be painted late next week! i have my fingers crossed!
also i reupholstered the door panels with black suede
Yup they are going to be nice and stiff, im tired of running on cheap ebay springs that bounce all over the place, and personally i like the response and how you can feel the road under you. I plan on running koni yellows. And I'm planning on it!
Koni is still having their sale till may. I think the best price I found was clubcivic.com $440 shipped I think. But I thought they were only good to like 500 lbs. You may need to get them revalved. Can't wait to hear how they ride.
Driftin is right. The most I've ever heard anyone use on a Koni yellow is 550#. And i think that might be pushing it, so I suggest getting them revalved
Edit: BTW just looked it up, If you want to run spring rates that high you might want to look at the koni race series. And possibly call Koni to get some insight from them. Can't wait to see the updates after you paint it.
yes they are rated to 500lb but im not to worried about it because i know a few people who are running rates very close to that and with such stiff rates the suspension wont have very much movement

I just read through this thread thinking the final pics were going to be shown at the end. Man, was I disappointed. The suspense is killing me. I know it's going to look real clean. That color looks good from what I can see on the fender. Keep it up dude!
