Yus a wing would top it off nicely! There is a longer wing that I have seen for the E-AT Civic shape but dont have any pictures on me at the moment....we'll see what happens :P
Updates, have got the Shuttle stuck in driveways twice in the last week (back wheel gets pushed right up into the wheel well, locking it up lol) and smashed a headlight (glass) last night somehow so spent this morning swapping one over from my parts car.
Life is flat out once more and have f-all time for working on my poor baby at the moment
Added to the casualty list in the last week - blown radiator, and ignition leads...one of the old leads snapped clean off on the plug so she was running on 3 and arcing out *wince*
Luckily I have the spare car there so just swapped bits off hahah - god damn removing the radiator in these is a f*ck around!!
Here is some coverage from the trackday/meet a couple weekends ago that I organised, there was great turnout which I was stoked about! (click through to read)
I dont know about the stripe, dont think it flows real nice. The black on the lower doors could work, I have been thinking of doing that aswell but im not convinced yet.
Had a look at the CJC blog and it looks like your guys Jerkfest went pretty good, good turnout, nice cars and I am guessing a shitload of fun.
Its good reading your stuff in NZPC too! I like your style and wording bro!

I love it. This Shuttle is winning over and over again.
Have you tried shoving larger bump stops in the shock to stop it compressing so much? Or putting some slightly stiffer springs in the rear?
Just thinking of how much a bitch it would be to jack the car up, put a piece of wood under the wheel, lower it again then drive happily over.
I'll probbaly have to drive with no front lip... and probably no front bumper to make sure my EK's sump doesn't smash everything But im pretty sure I wont have your problem :P
^ you are forgetting it already has a several thousand dollar Bilstein suspension set up specifically built for it, I dont think adding bumpstops is going to have any positive effects.
Just hit everything at pace, more momentem is the key
Yeah springs etc are all custom matched. Nah I dont really mind getting stuck etc eh, makes for some lols. Long as you hit things at high speed you're usually sweet, sometimes I have to ask people to get out first which is even more lols.
Good times!!
@Chaife, thanks bro, it's great to know there are people out there that appreciate her! haha
Nah no idea, the ride is soooo good, firm as but not "bouncey" at all, the thing corners just as good as my old ITR and waaaay better than my EF9, lol!
Yes have thought of underbody protection, its on the fabrication to-do list haha.
Had some random bogan as dude come in off the street @ work tonight and tell me how sweet my shuttle is lol.
- and apparently I have some spacers coming next week sometime...
Wouldn't want that project moving too quickly would we :P
Bringing shuttle to NIMM then?
Lol, running on asian time :P
hooopefully yes!
Been having some cooling issues still :? Not on open road but just around town in traffic she starts getting a bit toasty....might have to go alloy radiator, but I'm worried as to whether this will adversely affect the engine by keeping it too cool? Alloy half size perhaps? Or just get the OEM one fully reconditioned? Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.
Also have tracked down some Mugen headers and a sweet exhaust tip too. And added moar stickarz. Have a few parts sitting around for the old girl now, just need to arrange some fabrication.
Just trawling through some pics and found this one I took a couple weeks ago...stumbled across this spot and couldn't believe my luck. Just wish I'd had a proper camera on me instead of my phone..
I really cant think of anything to say that hasnt been already. Looks perfect (Y)
I was in hamilton last week but didnt see it around (only went between WINTEC and Thackery Street though)
If I were in your position I would recon the OEM radiator, its done 20+ years of service and its only just having issues now. Unless you are going to re-power anytime soon I personally dont think it is worth going to alloy radiator. That is just my opinion though based on what I would do.
Have you thought anymore on painting the lower doors? SiRge and Joule are trying to convince me to do mine and I am almost convinced, almost...
Have you got any pics of the headers? oh and the stickarz too plox
If you replace the thermostat and run an alloy radiator then it will still get up to temp. Thermostat will just stay closed longer.
In fact maybe its just the thermostat that is causing cooling issues?
Small update. Haven't really done much, haven't had much work so funds are running low, however I do have a shit load of spare time now so all I need is motivation!
Changed up the sun on the back, it's now ghosted on in a lighter red, looks badass.
Other than that, just been enjoying driving the old girl!!!

You should be able to ask the owner where they got it from
Thanks man! Yeah I'm lucky enough to know some talented photographers haha. Lip has been getting a hammering lately but shes surviving!

Too right, it's like EFs with a chargespeed/J's wing, just soo perfect
Is this good? or bad haha

Lol @ making people get out to go up driveways.
You could make a skid pan under the engine bay for high speed driveway entry?

Sweeeeeeeeeet!
HAHHAHA Torsion bar/ solid axle Shuttles are the shit.
See I can do it too....
I would post progress pics of the EK project in the garage...but there hasn't been any
