Now Im using a hydro tranny that came out of the same 99 Integra, and the plans are to do a full hydro clutch system instead of doing the hydro to cable conversion, or using a cable tranny. Another thing is that the motor mounts that I had are for a cable tranny so I kinda did a little of my own FAB work.

So this bracket that someone probably came up in there garage cost $150. Im just thankful that they posted detailed pictures of it, cause its not hard to fab yourself. At least for me.

So here it is. The line routed out through the firewall and to the slave cylinder.

that mount look crazy... but glad it got fixed... i had a set of ebay mounts but sold them when i came across a cheap set of hasports... and i was thinking of going hydro also but i heard too many horror storys from one of my cuz bring 3 clutch cables but it seems urs a newer style... can't wait to see the final product
  • Awesome Jeep! I've got an '89 MJ with SJ D44s under it. 4.10s, Detroit up front and an OX in the back. Just 3" lift and 31s, with plans for fender trimming and 33s later. Now all the 'wheeling in my area (the whole state of FL) pretty much dried up (unless you like mud- I don't). Put about $10k into that truck and now I can't even sell it.

Your wagon looks awesome, too, of course!

Very nice work sir. Looks awesome. And I'm really diggin the fact that you are running a true hydrolic clutch setup rather than doing the hydro to cable conversion. I'm doing the same with my CRX build.

    AWESOME!

i really like the trick you used to bend that the flat steel you used to make your new mount. notching it for easier bending, then filling with weld.

i think ill have to steal that idea. nice. keep up the good work. im a DIY type and you DIY like a mad man.

WOW thanks guys for all of you positive input on my build, I cant wait till when Im gonna drive it.

Some progress. Got new timing belt, new water pump, and new tensioner installed and got the thing fired up. No problems at all, runs great, I was surprised. It was pain in the butt cheeks to get the wiring all properly hooked up.

Here is my temp exhaust set up :D Strait out of the headers just bolted up the muffler. Other wise the thing was so loud, the kids were sleeping up stairs.

    237.jpg

Some wire tucking to the front, and like I said the wiring is crammed under the dash.

    238.jpg
    239.jpg

And the cool thing is that Im running DC cluster. Fitted nicely in the EF bezel.

I guess what you all need to know, and its something that alot of you dont want to hear but Im gonna spit it out anyways:

Im running all of the wiring from the same 99 integra that I got the engine out of. I mean everything from headlights to taillights. So yes its all obd2 and thats the part where your like "WHAT THE HELL..."
  • danzdanz Wagonist
sounds like a nightmare to wire it all up

why didnt u just do your average MPFI swap and get a jumper harness?
  • 5waysout5waysout New Wagonist
I figured that I have a whole complete donner car so I just swapped everything over, It was easier for me then to go and piece everything together.

I haven't seen anybody do that, tried searching for a while but no one messes with that :?
  • danzdanz Wagonist
well what the hell, it worked so what ever!
