  • Damn those wagons in the junker are a helluva find. You sir, are a wagon-finder extraordinaire.

Also, for your ignition issue, check out the ignition switch. This may help: http://techauto.awardspace.com/ignitionswitch.html

Well, I try my best at finding wagons. I tend to think of myself as the Steve Irwin of wagons, you have to sneak up on them and then when they least expect you strike!

Sweet find on the ignition link, now I figured out how to get it off the steering column! Thanks!
  • Hey if you need any info , let me know . I have a Honda factory service manual for the wagon :) .
  • ColeCole Wagonist
Thanks, I'll keep that in mind! :)

Got the fender on, waiting to put the new door on because I have to swap the weather stripping off of my door. I am also working on replacing the ignition so it is easier to get to with the door off.

Got some parts for a MPFI swap and a little extra. Got intake manifold, with fuel rail, injectors, and throttle body, CV shafts, two spare tires, dizzy, plug wires, and a gauge cluster(not pictured) for $80.

Here is the wagon I looked at today, I am talking with the guy to work out some kind of deal about it. He is gonna have one guy that is interested in it look at it and if he doesn't take it he will most likely except my offer. It has a lot of rust and cosmetic things wrong with it but other than that it is fine. I am wanting to pick it up for a couple of reasons, to be a dirty daily I don't have to worry about keeping nice, and It has a manual cruise control set up on it that I want to swap to my brown wagon! Also has some wagon goodies like rear muds, speaker pods, and a tow hitch.

  • Hey man wagons coming along nicely . You are quickly becoming the wagon finder . I say hell yes if the price is right , and you can afford it . BUY it ! You can never have too many wagons :D . Also if the speaker pods are grey I'm interested in them , if they're for sale .
  • where is the next meat....

    ahahah

This Sunday coming up, for $200 and a Pioneer sub!
  • F-ing awesome :) . Is this going to be a parts wagon ?
  • ColeCole Wagonist
I am most likely gonna dd it for a little bit but it might turn into a parts car. I know I want to at least grab the cruise control, trailer hitch, and speakers out of it for my wagon. I am not 100% sure what I want to do with it as of now, I might just be greedy and keep it all for myself!
  • Well , if it does go to parts I might need some stuff . If not then oh well enjoy it as a DD :) .
  • im kinda new to this and it may be in the wrong spot but does the speaker parts from the 84-87 wago's work in the newer body style.....and for anyone that may find one, you might want to try the speaker pods from and 88-92 all track corolla wagon......just food for thought
  • Wuz up cole ? Updates ?
  • ColeCole Wagonist
Well I have nothing at the moment but hopefully it changes by the weekend. I didn't pick up that parts wagon yet because of an issue he had with the title, so I have to wait for him to fix it before I get it. I am on spring break this week though so I am gonna try and get a lot of stuff done if all goes to plan. I picked up some rims and a strut bar for the wagon so I am gonna see if I can get those on too this week, got them on trade for hauling my buddies new whip. He trade some SBC parts for this beast and all it needs is a fuel pump. Its a 1988 Chevy Suburban 4x4 tank.

Might use this for something, not really sure though. Pulled it off of an old ford van at the junkyard.

Also picked up a stock PO6 ecu, and Vitara 75mm 8:5:1 pistons. I plan on picking up a Z6 for a project, in the end my wagon will hopefully have a boosted z6. Also might be picking up CRX rear disk set up and front Integra disks for cheap, not sure if I will be able to use any of it. I know its not just bolt on and go but I think it might work. I have not really looked at any of the brake threads on here so I am not sure on it, anybody know where I can find some info?

  • Hells Yea  . Boost it !!! Nice find on ISH . You could also just get a D16A6 at a bone yard and boost . Get them hella cheap . As long as you keep the boost low 5-6lbs. , you should be ok . What size turbo is it ?
  • ColeCole Wagonist
Picked up parts wagon today, gonna be pulling parts off of it this weekend for me and to put up for sale but if you need anything specific let me know. Found out it use to have oem window visors, no longer there though, just the tabs.
