    ahh mkay.

well in that case, Civic Hatchy

the JDM style signal lights (amber center) which out of the 88 civics (crx, sedan, hatch) which one would work?

To add on, I feel really embarrassed to ask. But, by adding a stock 91 si hatch bumper to the wagovan, you left the "filler". Is that the piece between the actual bumper and headlights or something else?

would it be possible to use the method that LSwagon used to put his 91 hatch with a JDM EF bumper?
  • wagodizzlewagodizzle Council Member and EDM expert
you mean wagon? yes, it is possible. akiraboy has done it 8)

what about the rear bumper. is it also just wagon or other civic like hb can fit too?
  • wagodizzlewagodizzle Council Member and EDM expert
the rear is very much wagon specific. i measured a hatchback bumper and its way to short while to sedan one is longer.
  • astutoastuto Wagonist
so i guess we can modify the sedan one to our wagons to make it fit, right?
  • wagodizzlewagodizzle Council Member and EDM expert
not sure, im pretty sure the reinforcement would be a straight bolt on but to make the bumper cover look half decent would take a lot of cutting.. and that usually wont look nice. when i go to the junkyard i can check and see just how much cutting would be needed
  • astutoastuto Wagonist
i have the bumper from a hatchback so im good for that. i had to modify it to makke it fit to the smash bumper renforcement that i have now.
  • wagodizzlewagodizzle Council Member and EDM expert
you smashed the rear bumper as well.. OR were you talking about making the rear bumper fit the front? sorry im a bit confused
  • astutoastuto Wagonist
nah... i meant that i bought a custom bumper for my wagon and it's actually from a htachback and the front bumper reinforcement also got smash when the accident happen( so now the bumper cover is w the smash bumper reinforcement) and i have to replace the front bumper reinforcement so everythin fits good for the bumper turn signals ........

where is the best place or cheapest place to get the "fillER" piece..
  • astutoastuto Wagonist
lol i guess the junk yard...... where do you live.... u mean the filler the white thing that goes between the bumper cover and the bumper reinforcement right?
  • wagodizzlewagodizzle Council Member and EDM expert
either that or the black strip that goes between the hood/headlights and the bumper assembly...

ok, now which piece do YOU want, cause when i refer to the "filler" piece im talking about the black rubber strip. :?
  • astutoastuto Wagonist
i want the black strip that goes between the bumper assambly and the hood/headlights

I had this EF sedan bumper on for awhile before I found a decent one.
    198.jpg
Used complete bumper, reinforcement and all. Just had to rig the filler on there. I never could get it to fit just right, but then again i don't think the OE fit was all that great... the profiles just don't quite match.

hey guys, honda calls this front bumper "filler" between the headlights and the bumper the "front bumper apron." A quick google products search for "civic bumper filler 90" comes up with a bunch of options, you could easily get one for $40 shipped. ALSO, this apron/filler part makes a PERFECT front lip spoiler for our cars.......
  • okay i want to put the ef9 front bumper on my wagon what do i need just the bumper and can i use the stock filler piece from my stock bumper someone help me out thanks
