Cleaning started with me literally taking a bucket of soap, sponge, and a hose inside the car itself. It was a blast, but i would never want to do it again! Looked like a giant swimming pool in the wagon. Hahaha
Got it drained out and dried for the end result:
Did the same to the inner structure of the doors and jamb's. Also made sure to regrease all the latches while the panels were off :
After a good 3-4 hours of work, i called it a day.
Before and after cleaning/conditioning of the inner rear quarter panels.
Did the soapy sponge treatment on the door panels themselves. Dried em' with a little compressed air and called them good. Finished them off with some conditioning.
Cleaned up a lot of misc interior as well. EVERYTHING is comin off and gettin cleaned!
I just scrubbed the shit out of my interior with a combo of Simple Green and dish soap. Needs something to help restore.
I did the exact same as you for the start to break up all the dirt, dust, etc. After that just gave them a good rinse and dried. I use Turtle Wax F21 for conditioning all my panels. Works awesome and leaves a great, sun protection shine that does not dull. It is also not as oily as Armor All and other similar products.

Wow that Turtle Wax shit is expensive! I mean, only $12, but still. Works well though. Much better than Armor All or Meguiars.
I used to detail cars at Land Rover of Spokane, back in the day. We used a company called Luster Glaze (I think) for all of our chems. That was by far the best stuff I've ever used. Wish it was available to the public (or at least what I've been able to find).

lol, yeah. Price is pretty high for just a bottle, but i found it to seat my needs. Thats badass you used to detail Land Rovers. I have never heard of that company (Luster Glaze). I usually buy detailing products through local vendors, but am really REALLY picky on what i get. In the past, i have noticed a lot of product out there can actually ruin plastic/vinyl pretty easily. Usually the sun does the damage though.
The spare tire cover had been bent mostly in the middle from the previous owner puttin weight to it without the spare tire spacer on. Got it bent back into shape... and gonna make sure i put the spare spacer on as well. lol
The wheels were in desperate need of some work. They were heavily pitted and caked with mud all throughout the insides.
It was time to get them freshend up.
Took my wheels to Glen at Jet Dynamics and had him roto-blast them to bare/clean metal. The man did one hell of a job!! Soon after, i gave the boys at MVP Coatings a call to talk powdercoat. Dropped them off at their facility, and 4 hours later....
Big thanks to all the people mentioned above for their outstanding work and ability to have these done all in one day!
The tires that were on it originally were 195/70's which were waaay to tall for the stance it has now (Rubbed the front fenders when turning). I went with some Fuzion HRI 195/60's to keep that problem from happening anymore.

Gathered up all the pieces and some plastic epoxy. Started plasti-welding away.
Reconstructed:
Applied a little spot putty to the area that was worked on then block sanded.
Primer stage:
