I'd love to hear about it when/if you get it to work. I loved my Acura engine, in a 92 Integra. It's not a GSR but the car was totaled last week and the engine is still good.
So I know the CRV 5 spd is hard to find, but how about doing a CRV auto transmission?
I just bought a wagon and I want to keep it auto so my mom can drive it. I'm currently looking into what I can swap but my self-pull junkyard just got in a crv with auto. I probably wouldn't do it but it's just a thought.
The same things that are needed to swap a B series into a hatch or CRX. Question #2 has the same answer as question #1, the same as it would be for a hatch or CRX.
And just to confirm wagon axles are bigger in every way except the slines in the hubs so next time u hear some ass clown talking about how CRV drivetrain is bigger and tuffer than rt4wd parts tell them they are full of shit.
Interesting,
So if the RT4WD drive-line is beefier, does this mean that if you fit a CR-V drive-line then your wagon would become substantially lighter?
it will be staying 4wd. I have everything I need with the exception of the tranny (ofcourse the hardest most expensive part to find.) I am thinking of just droping in the gsr with a gsr tranny for the time being until i locate a reasonable priced tranny.
why not just find a CRV and put in a better stuff than GSR.

Its respectably quick, but my motor is also shot...
