Hey Bam on password jdm facebook page a pic of your wagon trailer is up and its funny cause some people think its fake or are kinda confused... Cant wait for this one to show up.
eh for get the pictures . take a video of it and those of us who to have face book hint hint "get a face book bam bam lol "..... can show the world what the real mad scientist can do
Lol, I didn't mean to start anything....well maybe. It was just funny what some people say. Perhaps they are just upset their little minds could never concieve any thing out of the box,or that they don't see in honda tuning. I can not wait for this beast to be unleashed.
I've been eyeballing the tire clearances on this beast as I walk by, finally got a chance to whittle on it. I knew the inner fender was double-wall, so I cut a window to explore
After looking, we decided that it would be better to hammer it into shape than to cut it, so I welded the hole back up and whooped on it
and then there's the front, where I welded a bunch of junk in my own way
did some slicing and dicing, and some more hammering
It was easy to cut the rear bumper
but I'm gonna have to think some more on this one
It may not be necessary, I'm still studying on it.
You can go with any other stock 14'' steelies if you don't plan on using the cap. That's really the only ''standout'' thing about those wheels, unless you want the 13'' Wagovan/DX look.
Trev - Could you cut and fold there? It's commonly done on Cherokees since they are unibody as well. But I don't see this thing flexing too far forward, so as long as you have clearance for upward travel I think you'll be set!
Cut and fold is what I'm thinking. I just hate to violate the shell right there. I (almost) feel bad, all these poor yankees with rusted out sills and I'm chopping cherries!
I'm thinking about the caps because they just scream RT wagon. That, and the wheels look bare without some kind of trim.
Can you jack it up and put something under one rear wheel then lower it down to force the suspension to articulate?
Or will the front just lift without the weight of the motor etc?
Yeah, but really need to remove strut. It just picks the car up.
What about using the '88s LCA's they are the cup style, that the Strut sets into. Then find longer struts to modify to fit into place, to give you longer outward travel. I just got rid of a set
Or, we can investigate into the 86 & 87s.. and see if their gear ratio is the same as ours and ditch the independent rear suspension and use an axle with Spring & Shock combo VS our strut combo. Might be able to get more travel?? Would take away some of the clearance though.

The guy was claiming it was photo shopped.
Since I was the one that took the picture I said I took the picture it aint photo shopped.
I don't think Photo Shopped.
Then post it on FB and see all the haters go at it again.
It's way easier to just build the engine, install it, and take the picture!
We need a little less talk and a lot more action up in here. Let me get that ep3 done and a couple other jobs out, then it's on.

What do you think about the center caps?
I'm not sure on the centercap of the wheels.
Looks almost out of place.

your looking at trimming the rear arch.
Have you tried to articulate the trailing arm to see what it will do with a jack?
I figured at least that will give you some kind of articulation theory.
