I used flat black spray paint, as long as you lay it on even it comes out great. After some sun fading it will need a repaint. But it's alright in my opinion. I want painted bumpers anyways.
my plan is to paint the car black from the trim line down anyway, so i am not sweating it too much right now. it would look better, but i dont really want to get too many coats of anything on the trim/bumpers when i plan to paint anyway.
a friend of mine had it laying in his tool box. he was like, "hey lets put it on your car." i said, " sure whatever." i did it just for shiggles, but now that its on there i really like it.
the day i bought the car it had been sitting for like 2 months. i put gas in it and went to drive and gas went everywhere.....it has actually overflowed 2 times on me. so i replaced the gas cap and it hasnt happened since.
