I'm reviving this old thread because this car is back in the fleet :P You may remember that about 6 weeks after we got it, it was traded to lil'ghost for the gray wagon that pebbles has now.
Well, after Erin made huge strides with a 5spd swap, obd1 b16a, drop, wheels etc...a tree limb smashed the roof. When we put all her goodies in yet another blue shell, I got this one back.
Stay tuned!

She's been after me to find her a wagon, always wants to drive mine. (Her Xterra gets 17 mpg).
Bought this '88 DX auto today. One owner, 167k. Guy said it needs a motor. I think it needs a thermostat. We'll see. Runs and shifts well.

needs a door...I've got one
needs a hood...I've got two
needs a fender...I've got one!
needs a mirror... guess what?
seatbelts, seat rails, lower console, and gauge cluster are all different.
Nice find on the wagon, btw.
Got a problem? Bam has the solution. :P
Congrats, makes me happy tooo...
: ) now why do you have to say that... you traumatize it man...
we were both wrong. I think it needs an igniter/dizzy. after warming up for awhile it died when i tried to accelerate and wouldn't restart. By the time i went and dug out a spare diz, it cooled enough to start right up. (main relay/fuel pump were working thru all this)
some cleaned up shots
So far only in the ATL metro counties...and it PASSED FIRST TRY!
Went by Hubcap Annie's for another set of used trim rings, then drove on up to the lake- like butter up to 90. And it even came with a full tank of gas!
I wish I still had my other wagon, the search continues.
that is such the "Old School" way of dressing up our little Pregnant RollerSkates.
Black paint and chrome rings, Sweet! I've done it myself in the past. So did that cost over $15 total? Good deal compared with $5-800 for a new set of wheels.
