87 Civic Wagon

New Wagonist
Just purchased my first car for $1400. A 87 Civic Wagon, what a beauty.
I have plans for this baby.
-New Tires
-15mm wheel spacers
-New Front lip (Don't know what yet)
-Hopefully some JDM blinds
-Coilovers, Get lower
-New Tint
-Thule roof rack
-Paint gun metal grey
I need help deciding on what to go with, what will look the best, and what the best bang for my buck.
**Will keep this thread updated as the project slowly develops!

hah Word. My other post got shut down because of my lack of knowledge. So this one should be a keeper!
Saw a beater, needs some Wagon love.
Also put in a 5-Panel, absolutely love it!
Next on the list:
-New Tires, trying to decide on lower profile or current profile
-1" & 1/4 wheel spacers 4x100 on Craigslist for $140 gonna offer $100
-Springs. Need to find out what springs will work, possibly gonna go lower, but mainly for a smoother ride.
Still need to make it sit flush. Then repaint bumper black, with the middle white. A very, very sexy white. :encouragement:
Plasti dipped the top hatch fin thingy black. Looks so much better!
Props to Charb for the paint mudflap letters white idea, looks clean.
here some pics from the actually day.
Got new wheels and tires finally! Str 505's, 2.5" lip, -10 offset. Tires Blacklion 195/50r15. Finally flush.
PHOTOSHOOT TIME! :encouragement:
Added a little JDM touch, my shoes from the age of 1 years old.
We think it may be the icm, a bad coil. But I also heard of a friend who had the same problem in a crx and it turned out to be the distributor That because the beast of a 1.5L gets so hot you have to put in platinum plugs in it, plus a new distributor. Can anybody confirm this? I'm living Flatbroke Status because of my last investment in wheels, plus the adventure of Senior Prom threw all my money out the window :encouragement: So I'm hoping not to much money will be needed, but whatever it takes to get my baby back driving!
Does your car still currently have the original carburetor?
Any engine pics?
