How long are you going to rock the RT wheels? Not that there's anything wrong with them.
I'm not sure. Till I see some other OEM wheels I like I suppose.
So like I was saying earlier today I went to the Junk Yard.. I ended up picking up a CRV console. I wasn't planning on it. And Had it not already been removed and just sitting on the seat I probably would have never got it- with that said- I purchased it for 8 dollars. This has always been a mod in the back of my mind. Mostly because of the cup holders.
Well after staring at it. and then at the wagon then back to the console. I decided it couldn't be that much trouble... (lols).
cut stuff
my main mount for this is the same bolt that holds the parking brake. But I also use 3 self tapping screws to fill the other holes and drilled into the wagon body. It's plenty secure thats for sure. This is the mounting bracket if you will
out with the old
had to cut the lever that makes it collapse- Its a lever like the same kind to move your seat forward and backwards. Anyways it was hitting the shift knob- when in the "D" or drive position- It just hung down too low.
power seat belts ended up being my biggest problem. It was a tricky thing finagling the passenger side seat back in. Also where I mounted the armrest is about where the seat sits at the furthest back- there are about 3 more clicks till its all the way back. It's like in the middle, kind of where the seat is all the time anyways.
done and done. I really like it so far. Its awesome. Its obviously not collapsible (it would hit the parking brake & also I chopped off the lever.)
this was a 3 beer job
it also hits the drivers bolster a little- where I have my seat set anyway- maybe your taller or lean back and it wont hit the bolster at all?
HAHA well you know Billboard our wives won't always be happy with the things we do, but it is alright as long as they still let us play with our toys.
yeah dude she was so pissed this morning. lols. I really never took into consideration anyone but myself would be driving my wagon when I decided where to mount the armrest "airplane tray".
I was in tears in Starbucks (drove the X3) this morning when I read her rant. I was also like "o shit" I better go get her car- fill it up with gas and deliver it to her work...
I also washed it for her in hopes of softening my punishment

Hey Billboard been checking your build threads since you where in EF-HONDA forum, and i gotta say loved all of them.
Just had one question on one of your builds on a red RT4WD wagon you did a mod on the front bumper with a EF9 front bumper,
been looking and can't find no write up's on how to do it and was wondering if you could post a step by step?

I cannot post a step by step, I no longer have that wagon. Or that bumper- I never took detailed pix of it... sorry- but on the previous page of this build thread we were discussing this bumper on a wagon- if you go to EEwagons build or read our comments- you can get a general idea of what to do- I believe EEwagon has some decent pix of what is needed to install- at least to get you started...
With that said;
I WILL NOT BE TAKING ANY MORE CALLS REGARDING INSTALLING THAT FUCKING BUMPER!! JUST cut/hack the shit out of your current bumper support until it fits... Its not rocket science... I'm finding when doing any modifications to your car- everyone wants a step-by-step; myself included, but in most cases even the step-by-steps that you do find are flawed and don't include everything you need to do. For example trying to wire fog lights into an EF or any car for that matter (correctly with a relay), I swear I looked on every forum and there just isn't a great how-to or step-by-step on this... I finally after frustrated with researching just went out to my garage and forced myself to learn. Everyone with interesting/awesome/horrible mods has probably done the same---- Just go out to your garage and ruin some shit. Hack up a bumper support. Hack up your center console. Burn up a foglight switch. Blow some fuses. Drink responsibly.
in other news. hurray brand new sun glass holder console thing!!

Super impressed with your car. Your attention to detail is awesome!
New headrest. Its funny, they are different sizes- I never noticed, the rears (or they may be made for the front seats) are taller than the others.
Clear Corners- I will take some new (actual camera photos soon)
The bigger headrests are for the front
Cool updates!
I want to say thank you but, I also don't want people to start pm'ing you begging for parts. But thanks again.
and tomorrow I will adjust the headrest correctly.
No problem, I love stacking benjamins in my PayPal account!
(Pieces are rare over here too so I can only sell/trade stuff when it's available here)
They'll have to step in line anyway because I still got some work to do for you.
headrest swapped around. they look better

...but wait...doesn't it get in the way of your side in the driver's chair?
not really- it runs into the bolster on the driverside. But I just rest my arm there.
This picture quality sucks- but it sort of shows
brilliant photos as usual.
Im not sure- probably 4th gear may be a little tricky.
thanks man. Its very comfy for myself
thanks man, I try...
but if you want to know my wifes review of the new arm rest......... .... ....
