Nice job on the wiring. Must be nice having spare wagon time on your hands! Enjoy it while it lasts!
It's nice and its horrible... I cant sit still, seriously I think I may need anxiety pills... But o well, I get a lot of stuff done...
Basically after moving to Denver, I've just been going through my box marked "honda parts"... stumbled upon this EDM red hazard switch that didn't work with the wagon... I decided to try to make it work with the wagon....
after taking the buttons apart- Its clear the buttons are far from even remotely the same- other than the size really...
Dremel the mounting stuff out of there...
cut the mounting stuff out of the USDM switch
plastic epoxy:
epoxy dried- it dries clear-ish...
put button back together... I will go install it in a minute
O also I went salvage yarding yesterday (Needed that rear fog light button in the previous post- and picked up the above hazard switch to destroy), anyways I found these mats in an old Accord- I cleaned the living hell out of them.. I got them because the passenger side looks like the right shape to fit in a wagon... No driver side though...
Is that an aftermarket cruise control? Is that from the previous owner or do you have any info on it? Id say you need to do power windows/locks next. Im digging the clean wagon!

Dont wanna jack bill's thread, but I know there are some aftermarket door and window kits but, are there any OEM systems that work the best And are easy to put in the four-door wagons? If so, let me know especially if there is a parts list of things to get.

I've heard any 4-door civic and maybe even concerto(Not sure if you got that model in the US).
Important to add to your shopping list: Door-wiring looms and the fuse box ( Grey addition to the original fusebox, 4x20a Fuse, was preinstalled on most EDM/JDM wagons)
Other than that it's a pretty straight forward install when the wiring is done, for me it was basicly plug and play.
Thanks guys... The cruise control is aftermarket; but pretty popular with Ef's I've seen the same CC in a few 4gs now... It does not work- I'm not sure why. It came with the car.
Hey billboard, what all did you cut to fit the ef9 bumper with the usdm bumper support? im at a stand still and need to get it on asap for the upcoming show!
Trash or not, pics are tight! That last one would look perfect as the cover of an Anchorman sequal! Ha
lols, exactly the whole building is kind of like that on the inside. When the days of working in TV were awesome and lucrative. The Building hasn't been updated since then.
Love the pics and that Bimmer! So which car is in the Garage now?
neither actually, The wife gets the garage at the moment (so her 4-runner). The Billmer is under covered parking till I get time to register it. The DMV in Denver is a monster, like 3 hour wait times etc, so I just havent honestly had the time to sit through that...

everything that needed cutting... Starting with the ends, chop both ends off.. trim here. trim there... hope you have an awesome grinder...
i cant get it to line up at all. i cut it to where i was able to bolt the top plastic on and got the ends to line up to the fender and theres just a huge gap in the middle.

Curious when you would actually use that rear fog in real life? I see these pretty often on all the other forums i'm on but have never understood what the OEM intent was for it. Maybe backing up at night when your reverse lights aren't bright enough??? Extra brightness for people driving behind you?

Well like the name says, it's a rear fog light.
When it's really foggy you turn the light on so people behind you can see you. The foglight gives about as much light as the brake lights so they're good visible.
Almost all cars over here in europe are required to have at least one!
looks good bro! do you use an actual gun or rattle can? do they sell it in rattle can?
id like to do my wagon red
They sell it in a rattle can. Its kind of spendy these days 8-9 dollars a can- so to do an entire wagon with it wouldn't be that cost efficient, you could just go to Maaco and get the cheapest paint job possible and have better, more long lasting results... in my opinion anyway.

Vladi's got this covered. They are bright. I really don't turn it on unless its raining or foggy out, just an extra precaution so drivers can see the wagon in bad weather conditions. I plan to use it a lot during the winter- up and down the mountain passes!

close to fitting perfect...
Im not exactly sure on the year- my guess was a late 80's early 90's accord sedan.
