Little introduction from a lurker
Swap'd-D
Wagonist
Been on here for a little while, haven't posted much. Thought I'd share a few pics of my 89 Wagovan and it's story. Will be pretty brief, enjoy! I apologize as pictures aren't the greatest.
Day before I picked it up, sat here for 4-5 years.
Bay before I touched it
Day I got the D15b in
A ways down the road, and my sad old hatch that donated its heart and many other parts.
Shot of the bay once it was all running before the paint and tucking began.
No Disassemble!!
Starting to primer and lots of wetsanding to conserve paper.
More primer and sanding
Krylon Almond I believe just a rattlecan job
Done with paint, didn't get a pic with clear
Getting put back together

Motor in, still had more to do
Back up and running
Somewhat recent shot
New lip, low, pretty recent
Ditched the fart can
Finally found some optional Wagon rear mud flaps in excellent condition
Got a cheap little intake and relocated my battery along with a bit more tucking of the harness. Most recent pic.
Car looks mean dude!
Going to add some more random pictures as well.
Another bay shot before intake
Body work on the quarter, had two nasty scars
Wrapped the hood at one point
Just a neat pic
looks like a place where i used to paintball
nice wagon btw, keep up the good work
Hell yeah man, do work, anything can be accomplished.
Thank you sir!
Haha great show, the last pic was taken near Banks OR. Thanks for your comments guys!
Thanks! Its close to what the new color will be but its getting redone and shaved when paint comes. This will be the color the wagon is getting.
FJ Cruiser Sandstorm. Going to get paint mixed as soon as I can get a good window of opportunity to do this.
Actually swapping it in. no. Only have to change one engine mount. Doing wiring cause my guy messed up my custom engine harness and I got a crappy obd-1 jumper was a pain. Couple more pics in a sec.
Thanks! I've had the car almost two years.
Alarm install today, gonna be fun!
Pics to come.
It "snowed" ha.
Heatercore blew a load, out with it and all my A/c related garbage that is quite overkill in the great North Wet.
Rare Jdm Wagovan cupholder option
Some of the engine harness
I love this flywheel. Super fun.
Don't buy cheap HID's those lasted like 4 months lol. Woodgrain hood was balling.
