wow other than that door the car is pretty minty! not to bad on the price either, and as you said all the gaskets and crap to change takes a total of 5 mins if your lazy doing it lol. Im curious are you going to fix that door? or replace it (if thats even possible to find now)?
nice, the engine is clean! the interior looks great for the age and its all stock. a well taken care of wago besides a small accident "easy fix if you can find one close". Congrats! a great start
my build is not so much of a build "paramedic school"- i lost all my pics when my computer went down. I will try to get one up and shoot you a link. picture a 88rt gold with bmw chrome bottle cap rims, tinted windows with window visors and crx side view mirror visors. all stock.

Wagon is pretty minty, just minor few drawbacks, but nothing bad. Passenger side looks flawless every morning I walk out front and see it, love that thought in till I walk to my driver side haha
Yea the gasket job isn't much time to worry so I can manage it easily. As for the door, I'm gonna fix it myself, but will be buying a newer door in the long run for the hell of it. Theres a few places my friends have spotted some sitting around + I seen some as well. In a tight spot with money now as my CRX is gonna get loving 1st, mandatory!!

nice wagon, ill be watching your build!
Engine is actually a lot cleaner! I should of snapped pics the day after, as I washed the wagon at 11pm that night, but my cousin let me use his iPhone 4 the day i got home with it so yea... I used a few Black Magic engine shine/degreaser + some other can of engine degreaser for the engine bay and hood, it all looks shiny and healthy fresh! Plus some Meguiar products to wash my moms BMW X5 and my Wagon. Made my wagon stand out a lot more
Anyways, once I start doing more work on my ride, I'll create a build thread & link it here. Hope to see yours sometime soon man! Mad jealous you got an 88 RT4WD!!! haha
congrats on the buy... do these wagons come with cruise control on the rt4wd drive model or at all? and i will be hitting you up later when i get ready for my dohc swap if i do end up buying this rt4wd here in my town... thanks again

Thanks, I love my wagon! Now I wouldn't know about that info of cruise control on RT4WD but by this time by now I'm sure you would of figured that out for yourself or found an answer, hopefully.... Whenever ya need that extra info/source/help or whatever for that ZC DOHC swap just direct a PM to me; be glad to help!
Thanks a lot. Been babying her, exterior and interior wise, soon to junk the stock D15B2 as its a baby engine and not holding up to well for my standards of driving. Loving the gas mileage though, seems to save more than my rex did, oddly...
UPDATES Sep 22, 2011
Car acting up - might be a crankshaft position sensor or fuel pump/filter (inspected all other possible sources of failure).
Tires going bald like crazy - so gonna put on my '88 CRX Si + wheels on it
Wagon has been inactive for 3 days with a fresh half a tank of gas in it!! Haven't manage to swap my tires for my CRX Si ones due to this. Drove me nuts, especially when I found out it was an Ignition Module issue!! Basically I had no spark from my distributor, obviously; for those that don't know, it all started with me on my way to Bako with my RPMs dropping around 5-6k or 50-65mph then causing my engine to not crank over at all once pulled over + with a check engine light coming on (CEL).
Top of that, to fix it, I thought I had a crankshaft position sensor on my engine by my oilpan/crankshaft pulley, only to find I took it all apart for nothing & wasted my time... Found the source to my issue and well like stated above it was all due to no spark from my distributor because of my Ignition Module.
Autozone - Duralast Ignition Control Module: # JA179 Total cost-fix: $55.45 Total loss from not going to work + purchase: $141 / $196.45
This was seriously something so simple and I easily overlooked and crossed paths with other so called issues... Wish I had known the issue at hand & gone to work though, was going to move in a new pad and engine swap this coming weekend for you all to see. Plans now all pushed aside till further notice... Well an actual build thread coming soon, since I wanna track my expenses + 'issues' to 'new parts' keep coming up, plus its pointless to continue in this introduction forum-section
