Before my wagovan dedicated site is actually up and running I'm using a blogspot blog as my record. Once running I'll have maint. cost breakdowns, mpg per tank #'s, all my photos and a variety of other stuff.

Just noticed you bought bushings. From where, may I ask?

Majestic Honda. I've placed the order and I got an e-mail back saying they were going to let me know if they could still get all the parts or not. After pulling everything apart on Wed. I think I can replace everything with bushings from Home Depot or somewhere similar. I'm thinking of using metal for a bunch of the shims where the lever connects with the cables and is held on by the pin. The plastic/metal washer in there is too thin. I've tightened it up with the sink/tub gasket kit I bought, but I want my shifter to feel rock solid.
I tried to buy all the shifter bushings/clips/washers from the dealer about a year ago. I got all the shifter bushings, but the clips and some of the washers were discontinued, and it was a pretty long wait for the bushings themselves. I think they came from Japan. That was from the Canadian parts network, so there might be some stock in the US.
Well the bushings are the most important part imo. I can make or find substitute washers somewhere. Did your shift feel really tighten up with the new bushings in?
And I realized that the reason I like the lip on the hatch better is that it's paint, then lip. So then I thought "I need to paint my lip". Then I thought "why don't I just buy an Si lip?" Then I thought "In that case, why don't I just buy a JDM hatch lip?" Then I realized how much money it was...drat.
So while turning around to save a turtle in the road I underestimated the depth of the ditch (due to the grass/weeds) and I high-sided, cracking my lip in the process. Doh.
So, the lip went on, then came off.
Good news is that I have a local guy who is going to be selling his evo seats in the next month or so, and Ive already made a deal to pick them up for $300!! I already got the rears from him and I'm planning on re-upholstering the stock rear seats with the rear evo seat covers to match the fronts.
Today I'm also picking up a Z6 motor and trans for $150!!!
So currently I'm rocking the gangsta lean, and not able to use all the silicone hoses I ordered. I realized that I could easily cut into the front sub frame steel that isn't part of the actual bumper...actually, it might just be part of the frame:
It's part #2 and I don't see why I cant replace the whole thing with a piece of thinner bar stock with some mounting brackets for the radiator. The lean isn't too bad, but I'd rather have it mounted flush.
