Do a little research b4 you get the Y8 head.I read the SC doesn't work well with the Y8 something about V-tec or cam timing.Since your bud has a nice cam in there maybe you're OK.See if that cam works with the SC.

exhaust ran me 600, and that was only cause i asked him to fix that jacked up test pipe i had in there and put in that flex pipe. but john is a super nice guy and they do great work indeed. which to me was a deal considering that you really cant buy a nice off the shelf exhaust for our cars. and say you found a nice HKS or something for a crx your going to spend hella money and then have to adjust it to fit. so all and all iam happy. but the placement was a big plus just cause i was tired of it dragging up on drive ways.and the y8 head that he has is perfect for the SC. its been ported out with oversized valves and duel springs with a nice mild cam. he had the setup of that head with the SC on his crx. the good friend of mine with said items is also the same person i bought the car from. so its pretty much a solid setup. but thanks for looking out..

If you are looking for a JDM CRX cluster in KMH, might be able to help out but pretty sure they use electronic VSS so you might want to try the Euro boys for that instead.
