Slipscreen - the project continues

hey all... i've been somewhat busy since i bought this wagon in nov. 2008 but since then i've...
replaced rear seat release tabs
replaced broken pass side hood hinge
replaced drooping drivers door hinges
replaced broken pass side hatch hinge (this in turn caused a leak where old hinge epoxy was removed)
fixed drivers side rear door so it could open from the inside - was hit and pushed in - painted and pushed out the dinged area - character!
swapped in a low mileage transmission
added tranny cooler
replaced drivers door window regulator (was fun at drive thru's)
replaced rear engine mount
replaced both front axles
removed plastic rocker panel covers and ground out the rust and painted what remains of rocker panels with chassis saver
removed rear bumper and ground out and rust-painted slight surface rust between tail lights(removed accumulated mud inside holes in frame)
removed rear bumper support from skin and painted with chassis saver rust paint (badly rusted but still solid)
removed rear interior panels and ground out rust just in front of and below the tail lights and fixed holes with fiberglass
replaced broken (tied-in-a-knot-cause-retractor-was-shot) drivers lap belt and retractor
replaced inner tie rods
replaced broken antenna
installed acura legend front lip on rear
installed civic si front lip
installed rear sedan mud flaps
replaced drivers seat cushion and cover
replaced thermostat with oe
had car sprayed with oil to preserve body
replaced front brake pads
still need to replace the windshield...
that takes us to here...

and... i picked up this rt4wd drivetrain that came from a manual with 68,000 miles.
the guy unbolted it and lifted the car over it, keeping the engine/tranny/etc. bolted to the subframe in the front and removed the lca's and did pretty much the same thing in the back... and the speedo still says... 68K... might swap that into mine... haha

these pics were taken by the previous owner... not quite as spacious in my garage... lol

Comments
although there's no rust down there... there sure was/is a lot of red dirt in every door, vent, crevice...
haha... that's the after... and that was the 'photogenic' side...
here's a closeup of the less photogenic side showing the character....
rear lip (legend-cut-heat'gunned-and-bent)... wasn't that bad with a heat gun and some time...
front lip (civic si) and ef bra... and dents... haha... more character... love it!!
i'm beginning to see the tell-tall signs of a leaky head gasket and although this engine is still smooth and passes emissions, it's the right time for a newer engine/tranny/etc...
once the rt4wd drivetrain is in and working the fwd dx beige pinstripe comes off and the transplant recepient red pinstripe stripe goes on... only after i've throughly 'tested' it though... haha....

time for a live cam...
