I have a rideshare to Toronto -- leave for the public transit at 6:15 in the morning, get to Toronto around 2, should be back around 9pm -- i'll post some pics of her (I already have some but want her in my hot little hands first!) You're going to be surprised :P

by now, all my friends know what a civic wagon is  It's pretty cool when your friends help you find them!
even my son grudgingly accepted we are getting another car

yes, bam-bam, i'll have to remember to bring a camera and get pics of the log-skidder before she gets moved!

Thanks I'm glad you like her doitdub! She's my honey bee!

I am helping the previous owner sell a tandem bike or two, a dining room set, bunch more things, and storing his mountain bike for him. He has to go overseas for a couple of years for disaster aid -- on very short notice. I DID actually offer to store it for him on 8 inches of gravel for two years (free) if he changed his mind, as long as he got the plating/parking insurance taken care of in advance. When he declined, I told him he might want to re-evaluate his price. I expect to make another trip to Toronto with my Ford Windbag, and bring back more things. She came back with a bike-for-two, a mountain bike, an extra RT tranny, clutch gears, distributor, 13" winter tires on rims, honda centre caps and 3 spares, starter fuse box etc., etc.

lookin good.. never seen a yellow wagon before
  • QCnukQCnuk Wagonist
    me neither wide_si!
    factory she was champagne
She was getting looks from civic owners on her trip home, and my neighbours are making comments! They might be realizing what I was seeing in my 3 diamonds in the rough!
I like the stripes too -- and the tinted windows! Some of the plastic trim is cracked, but I have lots more of that and know what I need to do. Just a matter of getting the time once things warm up ...
  • YELLOW , DOHC ZC , RT4WD , 6sp , oh yes I am jealous . The tinted glass really sets it off . Kudos , that is one nice wagon . I like the honey bee name . Should get a something like these made up for it .
  • here comes big bird. i have never seen a yellow one. looks god :)

prboy1969: I love the bee! Actually I was looking online for a window transfer that's see-though -- something a lot like your bee.jpg without the stinger LOL!
Now I just have to come up with a catchy phrase: "Be(e) ???" Bee a wagoneer? Bee Happy?

Crazy_si_T: Big Bird LOL! how about medium compact bird with lots of space LOL!

    oh that's nice! I'm a musician too -- something like a bee and 932.jpg
  • Can you take a picture of the paint-code sticker on the inner door jam?
  • QCnukQCnuk Wagonist
I can look for one next week -- I am in town for the rest of the week (I have a pied-a-terre for now close to Ottawa that has high speed and pays for itself in saved gas)
  • What kind of rims are those ?
  • QCnukQCnuk Wagonist
I'll have to go check -- can't remember -- give me a couple of days...

Phillip (its previous owner who takes credit for this job) says they're from Japan -- they're 15" and fit the Prelude or Civic. If you want further info, I can let you know what more I can find out when they come off during its general maintenance and cleaning -- which won't be until Spring or so which means late since we still have lots of snow
  • sucks....why cant we have the ZC motors here stock
  • QCnukQCnuk Wagonist
    actually it's easy to do
phillip (the previous owner) said he'd help me do one (and everything else) for helping him out when he gets back in a couple of years -- actually I hope to have a wagon to give him too

maybe we could make it a meet -- I have an acre, a 8' campfire, loads of wood, almost no mosquitoes thanks to the bats, should have my 600' chain link fence in place for any canine visitors, and there are lakes and fishing everwhere
