well NOT the best pics but you get the idea.....got my tank mounted and my horn, still have to run some wires and iron out the final touches on it but you get the idea. also got my new suspension setup and control arms in today and will install them tomorrow. took a few pics of the current setup as of now and the new stuff.
old stuff is just the ebay coil over sleeves over stock DA struts and used the neuspeed race springs the yellow ones trimed a coil and a half to fit snug into the sleeve so its kinda tight and still have alot of ground clearance, and still could drop it another 2 inches if i wanted to. and on the rear i have my extended top hats. have the front ones made just not installed yet. well anyway enjoy.....
Heck yea dude the suspension looks good! I am assuming those are some sort of train horns that you are installing! Can't wait to see how low you can go!
yeah i can go pretty damn low. iam on the fence now about what to do. iam running a huge tire right now just cause they came on the new rims. but iam thinking about going with a 195/45/16 and after i get those ill go alot lower. but the ride is amazing and soooooo much nicer then before. got them on tonight and its crazy the difference it made. i wish i would have bought them sooner.but yeah its just a single train horn i didnt want anything too crazy just enough to make my point lol. the DA seats in the front all that you need to do is a pan swap which keeps it clean and easy, and for the rears all you do is use the DA fabric and reskin the back part which you can see dont fit perfect around the knob to let the seat down..good enough for me but note worthy none the less. and the seat bottom is just pushed in and held in with two bolts....
granted these are old pics i took these when i made my first thread. since then they have been cleaned and look much better now.
never been on the rollers, kinda curious to as well. i had the 6lbs pulley on it and about a month ago i went up to the 11lb pulley. totally woke the car up, iam working on getting a fully built y8 head from a coworker. i also blew the clutch out of it last week so iam kinda babying the thing now. looking into new clutches right now to see what i want to order. but after the new clutch and head are installed id like to hit the dyno. supercharger came right from there site hmmmm prolly about 6+ years ago maybe. not sure about where to get them now....on a side note that flash made the seats look a different color lol almost a green..anywho. i dunno its not a racecar but i really like it. for having no vtec it pulls nice and surprises some people lol.
Dude I am so diggin on the DA interior . You said , DA seats in the front all that you need to do is a pan swap . So you just swap the pan and you get to keep your sliders and just bolt back in ?
yep keeps your sliders and wagon pan. i really like them cause it sits a tad higher and has a great feel to them. ive never owned a DA teggy but i really like the seats and if i ever get another wagon id soooo put DA seats in it. i LOVE them
wish i was stoned lol its all good. the air take is for my train horn i just hooked up last week or so.
the power windows are really nice to have as well. i really like them, and the back seat is just the integra seat pushed in the factory location and held in with two bolts. it dont like up to a T but damn close. and the rear back is just the wagon seat reskined with the DA fabric. you can see its a bit larger around the seat release but again pretty damn close. and thanks for the offer man but damn man your hella far from me so thats a hell of a complement to say you would want it lol thanks man. took some more pics so ill upload them when i get back from dinner. some more interior shots,my new tires, fresh drop, strut bar and interior......be back in a bit.
well took a few more pics after i got a few goodies and thought id update....
on my way out to a EF meet last sunday, had to stop at a rest stop...
took a few pics of the shitty tires that came on my new wheels...they were way too big and wouldnt let me drop the car as much as i wanted to. old ones were a 195-55-16. and they rubbed like all hell. hardly has any room as you can see from the pics. and on another note they made the wheels look strange to me. the smaller tires i think make the wheels look in perportion to the car a bit better but you tell me...
new suspension installed with new skunk2 control arms...
someone wanted a pic of the rear disk from a DA integra...
new strut bar...got a new valve cover from the junkyard last week and iam going to paint that one wrinkle black this weekend. the camo is all jacked up so time for a change...so dont mind the paint falling off lol...
ok so i got my new tires on, a 195-45-16 and i have to say i LOVE them. they have a good enough sidewall to have a good ride. i got to drop it alot more with no rubbing. did roll my front and rear fenders, buti still have to drop it in the rear a bit more. i just got it set yesterday so i want it to settle and see how i like it. but yeah ill drop the rear about another inch. after that ill pull the rear camber out a bit to get it somewhat pulled out. but you get the idea. check out how much more room there is compared to the other tires....
Great updates man! Love what you did to it! I want that Skunk2 Camber kit! Those new tires look hella lot better that the chunky 55's. Did you ever think of painting the bumpers?
i thought about painting the bumpers after seeing a few white wagons on here but i worry about the look of it. the bumpers will be all nice and new looking and the other paint wont match up too much. at least i think it would look odd. but i could be wrong. i do like the look of them painted. and the skunk2 camber kit did wonders for the ride of this thing the SPC kit i had was junk and ill buy this one again if i ever buy another EF. i love it.
i just got my yakima fairing in today and installed and lowered the rear another inch but other then that i really need to install my new transmission and clutch. my clutch is smoked beyond bad. and the diff is junk in my trans, i have the parts its just a matter of stayin late at work one night and iam just lazy lol. but other then that i want to work on the brakes and get slotted rotors for the front and back and maybe try and find a new front lip. i REALLY REALLY want a new front lip but cant seem to find anything. i see all kinds of ones that are lower then my DA lip but dont know what they are off of so i dunno.
the cluster came out of a UK crx. thus being in MPH and goes to the 150mph.but iam trying to buy a JDM EF one from a guy at work but i dont see him getting off it anytime soon and i really want that as well. id like to have something in kilometers...but thanks for the stamp of aproval guys
wow nice car really clean and i love those wheels!!! how hard was it to swap in the EF power windows and door locks? Really Really want to do it to mine b4 summer but not sure if its something i can do or should attempt.
pulls great. alot more then i would have thought it would. when i first got it it had 7 pounds ....in october i swapped out pulleys and bought a boost gauge last week and with my blown out clutch which keeps me from really reving it past 5200 its at a bump over 11 pounds now. it just woke the car up and its even night and day from how it was. iam soooo freakin happy with it now. my friend whom i bought it from has a fully built y8 head with zex springs and a nice street cam that he is going to sell me. iam really excited to get that on and get the new clutch and trans in. and the windows and locks were done by the previous owner. from what i understand they are not that bad to do. if you have the doner car its great cause its just a straight swap. and running your wires through the door. he did a great job since he used some o.e. tweeters to cover up the old window crank holes. but all and all the car pulls hard and surprises alot of ricers at stop lights. which is prolly the reason ive gone through a brand new clutch is less then a year lol. ill never sell this car
sick wagon man, I don't even want you to see mine in person till i get more stuff done to it.
I wish I would have thought about the fabric swap before I tossed the DA back seats out. Thinking about it now and I would have done things a little different. psshh, oh well. Time to tighten up and regroup. oh btw, I missed you at the EF meet on the beach a couple weeks ago. I showed up just after you left. We'll have to meet up so I can drool on your wagon.
Dude I'm totally confused by your upper ball joints! Why does it look different than all the stock ones I've ever seen and whats up with that tab looking piece that looks like it starts going down the back of the steering knuckle? Is that just what DA knuckles look like?
