Wago-Dans white 88

So I bought this little wagon for $700. it came with the yakima rack I was going to buy anyway so really i Got the wagon for $500?
The story is that the guy rear ended a cab. the hood was a crumpled mess and the headlights pointed in different directions.

I found another wagon in a yard near my home town and pulled everything I needed to fix the white wagon, but I had to pull the front end out in some places and replace the T bar. So now I have a hood and headlights and the car actually looks like it should(minus that the hood isn't white) I'll be able to reattach the side moulding as soon as I find some white clips.

Spent all day washing then clay barring then waxing the wagon... I do think that the paint looks BETTER, but there is defiantly a paint job in the future.

While I was claying and waxing, My wife set upon her own brand of seat restoration. She removed a lot of the nasty seat stains and used some special backings plus blue bandanna to fill the gaps in my seats.

She also made anti slip pads for the dash!

I picked a set of fat fives on sunday. they look funny on the wago-truck.

Mounted pics tomorrow!
My dog likes the spacious rear seat...

Need wheel locks and yakima locks. don't want thieves you know.

LOL
The fat fives will look better if you lower it a big, IMO
Put my rack back on and added a yakima classic fairing.
picked up tonight: 2 new axles, 3 new motor mounts, all new AC components. 5 new z clips with white clips! Total $100

Still looking for lowering stuff...
Today I am making a new harness out of the pioneer I had and the female plug that was inside the stock radio. I could buy a harness for $20, but I have everything I need to just make it, so...
THIS IS NOT YOUR RED NICKED GETTOWED CAR RADIO ANTENNEE, NO ?
That's a cord for a drop light.
Just did my o2 sensor(wire was torn clean off) new battery terminals, and cleaned the battery and tray. car runs much better! Hopeit fixes my milage issue.

Today I installed new 4 way pioneer speakers in the doors. The ones I pulled out were rotted away. The new in dash sounds very good now.
Tomorrow I am picking up a set up Skunk2 Type-S coil overs! just need to go to the junk yard and get some 89-91 LCA and I'll be low!
Gonna raise the front an inch in the morning and leave the rear alone. Car looks and feels great! Much better than the blown drivers side front AND rear. That was a little scary at 75mph. While I was doing the rear, my wife changed the drivers side motor mount. There was no rubber in that one either!
Car is coming together! I still need to do axles, rear, front and tranny mount and rear trunk lift shocks.
Pix are a little hard to make out was the sun was setting but the car is 2.5 inches lower in the rear and like 3.5 in the front :? ...
Oh well easy fix. The guy I bought these off of was a bad AZZ. Guy used to run a shop that built a few cars for falken. an FC and an FD! awesome. had pictures and framed magazines all over his house where he and the cars were featured. Guy bought these coilovers for an 88 sedan project with a K series. never ended up finishing it and the shocks have zero miles! Bough them for 350 plus my stock parts! He even had the 89-91 LCA already on the bottom mount so I was able to bolt them right on rather than have to go to the junk yard to finish the install. He also gave me front lower forks that he said cam from another car that fit the same but are beefier. Install went super easy, and we were done in about 1.5 hours.
I love them!! Now time for some camber parts.
PIX.
You can't really tell in the pic but my wife is covered in grease and dirt.
yeah. I said it. shes a dirty girl.

Jen and I fixed all the CELs and codes for the Gold wagon, thanks to Bam-bam(grounding issues).
As for the White wagon, We took it in to smg and failed on hydrocarbons. The motor has a knock anyway so we decieded it was time to replace it.
We picked up a good condition D16Z6 with a lot of other stuff and are going to do the swap over memorial day weekend. I also picked up some PG6 pistons, but Those are going to have to wait till after we smog, but definatly for a future build. I still have a nitrous kit in the corner too.
The hard part has been finding a vendor to build a obd1+vtec conversion harness that can use the automatic tranny. I enjoy the auto, since this is my daily driver and I drive 80 miles daily.
Coming soon, # wagon photo shoot with the white and gold wagons as well as TIMELESS WHITEs wagon!
