DA WEDGE'S new rt4wd ugly twin

I have had the wedge for about 9 months or something like that and since ive had it and got my swap done i wanted another wagon i really liked the 4wd wagons after seeing kyle h's so ive ben really looking for 2 months and i finally found one and the guy lived 2 blocks from my house lol
I picked this thing up for 700 bux its a 91 rt4wd , automatic , heat /ac , powerstering ,
the car came with a dual cam zc swap already and it even came with about 30 pounds of dog hair and rust and a couple dents i made out good lol
something is wron with the tranny it feels like it doesnt want to shift and when it does it feels like it doesnt want to down shift and the 2 low button does not work if yall have any links or info about tranny problems on the auto 4wd's let me know
but anyhoo on to the pics
the first thing i did was seen if the 4wd works so i took it thru some powerlines down the road a lil bit
heres a shot of the man i bought it off of taking of his tags and u can see the wedge and my boys new kouki 240sx in the back

some buddys and me just gettin out the woods

and i just got back like and hour ago from the local car wash

im bringin it to work tomrow to tear the seats out and scrub and vacuum the crap out of everything
that's pretty nice.
did you ask him how it got there?
The man he bought it from told him it had a 98 acura intagra motor in it .
So before i seen the car in person i figured maybe he took out the 4wd ,
but when i seen the car in person i knew what it was right away and when i told the man and showed him the engine code he seemd kinda disapointed about it since hes ben telling all his freinds since he had it that it was a new motor .
so to anwser your question i guess the previous previous owner put the motor in.
witch he didnt do a vary good job of ,
almost all the bolts are loose or missing and the rear motor mount isnt even bolted on
The front one isnt there and the tranny leaks like someone stabed it .
im going to pull the motor and trany out in a week or so and redo everything and degreese the crap out of it .
and a lil update i pulled out the seats and took a brush and a vacuum and got about 80% of the dog hair/hay/stinkin ass nasty sh**t out of the carpet
good luck.
i'm in for more.
i was thinkin bout some dimond racing wheels all white way cheaper and still has sameish look .
but if you are willin to part with them ill gladly take them
come check my rt when u get some free time its not too much too look at but it is a wagon lol
I don't think diamond wheels are hub concentric, might want to check that out... I could be wrong
if yall no any good rental cleaners let me no witch one to use and what cleaner.
heres some pics of how nasty it was and how far i got it
heres a clean but still needs steemd pic
tomrow wheels are comin off and gettin painted and maybe a lil rust restoration
so heres some of the cancer on the right rear quarter
and heres a just about finished shot just need a finale skim coat of finishing bondo
heres some shots of the seat skining it took a wile to do but it was def worth it i paid 32 dollars for the seat from the junk yard and like an hour cuz i had no idea what i was doing
heres the passenger seat
leftovers
and finshed product
heres my fresh new tail light next to the one the previous owner tried to fix with some kind of epoxy
and heres the rear head rest i scored for 9 bux a piece from the yard
look what i found in the back of the wagon by the spare wheel
a walbro 255 brannew in the box
random shot
j/k
i need to learn to weld
good job!
do any of yall have a special trick / tool to get the little rubber trim peice off the car right on the rear fender without brakeing the clips .
and do any of yall know were to get a good full bag system for under a grand ?
cant you just reach around the inside of the wheel-well and squezze the clip
and pop it off...? nope...
upon further investigation it looks like the clip is on the inside of the car---
you will have to remove the interior rear plastics and then you can squeeze
the clip and get it off.... right....? wheres bam bam....
oo and no plans to sell thins one why do you ask?
don't, things keep flapping of...
i know...
I wish i knew how to remove rust
yea i like to do as much to my projects as fast as i can and as good looking as i can that way i dont fall out of the rythm and loose intrest
and it def helps to have a ton of junkyards around you
and for the rust thing you just gotta go for it try it out the worst that could happen would be it turn out like crap and you just have to grind it down and try again
HOW TO: remove door trim and clips without breakage
Its under 'Exterior Quicklinks'.
Hopefully that contains the answer you are looking for.
i did a similar seat-repair job to mine and i'm happy i did it.
either are my enkei's, but you can buy adapter rings.
thanks for the link i didnt even think to look in there
yea they are not hub centric my buddy has a set on his golf hes got 8s in the front and 10s in the back and 195 45 15s on fronts and backs im glad i have a cheeta
damn good price for it too with a zc swap in it already.
just wandering, really like it and its what i want. but nice work keep up with the updates
but heres a few shots of the install and how to keep the window visors
took the old one out
cut it in half
bolted the left over peice back on and now u can put the cover back on that and make it look somewhat factory i forgot to tak a pic of that
heres it installed
if any one wants pics of how i bent the tabs so that the visors are still usable ill post them
not saying yall cant figure it out ive just seen a bunch of ppl on here that take there off for somereson
