after further inspection of the wheels they are from a bmw, lots of spokes about 1 inch a part anyone know what car/chasis they cam from, pics coming
i'm pretty sure they're from the E30. which specific model, etc. i don't know.
Those rims look like some sort of BMW Alpina Replica. The real ones have 19 spokes. The replicas have 20. Those are surprisingly pretty sweet looking on a wagon. especially in black.
going to the motor4toys.com this sunday if anyone else can make it out, i'll see you there. i'll try and get some good shots for you guys of the car. maybe parked next to a ferrari or lambo.
motor4toys was awesome. back of my wagon was full of toys. ridiculous cars every where. unfortunately i forgot to charge the camera and only got these 2 shots at 5am in the morning as we were leaving to drive down.
got my chipped ecu in the car, with precision 750 injectors and gm 3 bar map sensor, with any luck will have the intercooler mounted this weekend. also picked up my cast manifold and got a wastegate free from a friend. oil lines assembled and ready to go, and a bunch of 2.5" couplers i'm getting so close!!!
got the intercooler mounted up, its a dsm backdoor style intercooler, the entrance/exit ports sit just outside of the sciraco radiator on either side. trimmed the bumper to fit and using two bolt drilled through the top of the bumper to hold the intercooler up (via the threaded section on the intercooler)
here's what it looks like with everything back on.
working on remounting the radiator so it sit lower. more progress to follow.
this is the intercooler im using. piping is different so you will need to get it seperately. just get the intercooler. trip up the bumper (after measuring) and you can drop 2 bolt through the top of the bumper after cutting to hang the intercooler.
got the gm 3 bar map sensor installed under the dask, took out the hvac control box (cuz nothing was hooked up to it) and mounted a 3 pod gauge holder in its place. vac/boost, aem uego wideband, and voltmeter are all hooked up and ready to go. voltmeter let us know altenator is on the way out. started raining out here in the desert, got the wipers working agin after the wire tuck. and did some general cleaning up of work that had previously been done.
page one of this post has a shot of a honda sticker on the pass side, reads ''OK'' . i want some of those really bad for the rex and the wagon. are those still avail. through honda dealers? or does any body have some for sale? pm me if you do! i'll pay top dollar for those! :P
thanks beagle. it was a bit late last night when i tried to post it....just got time for bed. i need to work on the sound quality, it sounds much meaner in person

shockingly i have almost everything you would need to boost your stock motor, just keep the boost low
my turbo is a t3/t4 60-1. looking to hit around 400 at the wheels with 20-25lbs of boost
edit: looks like vid doesn't work for me, don't know if anyone else can see. but you can at least see the setup in the pic.

using chrome with an ostrich to tune....beagle, can't wait to see your comment on that
here is the base map we first stated on showing the timing, a bit rough
and after some work, much smoother
