New Radiator (Checkers Auto Parts): $109
New Radiator Cap (Checkers): $8
New Radiator Hoses (Car Quest): $32
Anit-Freeze (checkers): $10
Peach Air Freshiner 3-pack(checkers): $3
Driverside Winshield wiper blade (checkers): $8
finding out im a totalworthelss moron = $5 dollars + a 5$ dollar gratuity, which
inturn is almost priceless...
so after i replaced all that (not that the winshield wiper or Air Freshner had
to do with anything; but i needed them); the wagon was still Over-heating
and leaking Anti-Freeze all over my Engine... So i decide to take it in,. instead
of lighting it on fire and driving it into a telephone pole like i had originally
planned...
It took the guy at Radiator King about 5min to solve my problems... It was
a heater Hose and he fixed it in the parking lot in what seemed faster than
it took me to say "you got to be ****ing kidding me".... he said "how about
$5 dollars"... i gave him $10...
anyways here is a small depressing update.. my new radiator and radiator
cap and some hoses...
haha that's sucks. Everyone's had a moment like that though, so you're not alone. On the bright side, the radiator and hoses were bound to go eventually.
car sprang another leak in another hose... i was so pissed off, i verbally assaulted
my own ears... in other news the guy at Checkers gave me the hose for free...
the leak
no pics of replacement- but it was easy.. i've bought a shit load of Antifreeze lately...
i also installed my underseat storage tray i got from Regenasian a lonnnng time ago,
just never got around to installing it... My seats were not like Regenasians write up
on his install... but here is what i did...
marked with sharpy
a little modification needed to the wire for moving seat back an forth
sorry for the crappy pix
and then i went on a photoshoot for fun; o i also sprayed my hood with
that car paint in a can i had---- i ran out; no to mention it looks like balls...
im pretty sure Hank Williams Jr is the best music i've heard in a while... non stop
lately in my wagon...
o this is my new co-pilot... he hangs there all day without falling off; pretty amazing,
if anyone knows the name of my co-pilot- extra points... i will tell you he is from
the ninja turtles...
Had him along with nearly every other Ninja Turtle action figure, vehicle, "lair" etc. etc.
I found an original brown plastic Leonardo Katana sword under the seat of my old red EF from when my mom originally owned the car from 90-95. I must have dropped it sometime when I was a kid.
Bam why do YOU know who he is? Weren't you a bit past the TMNT craze?
BTW:
One of my fave TMNT figures and character in general was this guy:
...but something that always pissed me off about TMNT action figures was that the weapons/accessories were always some whack-ass color. Pics of the figures on the backs of other TMNT toys showed detailed weapons, but when you found the toys in the sotre the weapons were bright green, blue, pink, orange, etc.
b18 is that actually your original genghis frog in original packaging?
No, no I'm not a complete fucking nerd.
I did a Google image search for each pic I posted. I have a scary memory about insignificant bullshit like an entire roster of TMNT characters, and can visualize their cartoon character, comic character, and action figure - wish I could have applied that same memory and energy into something worth a shit like school.
About the closest thing to "value" in my memory banks is a bunch of fading Honda technical info like engine codes, power figures, piston domes, transmission gearing, etc. Like I said though "fading" is the key word. The longer I go without the daily rituals of browsing H-T and 5 other Honda MBs the closer I inch towards being just another dumbass with a few engine swapped Hondas for which I cannot remember how to recreate them if need be.
lols; yeah gotta have them- probably the thing i miss most about my
old wagon... i love window visors especially when it rains; i just like
to have the windows cracked at all times...

the under seat tray and window vents are dank.

happy...
