Picked up my third wagon yesterday

I havent been on this forum much in the last couple years. I have been on firstgencivic more since my other wagons are a bit older than most here. Some of you might remember my first gen civic wagon Zippy:

and my second gen civic wagon Bruce:

So, since the economy sucks, we had to sell our Mazda5, we couldnt make the payments any more. TO make lemonade out of lemons I managed to convince my wife to pick up another civic wagon. It wasnt too hard to convince once we looked at this car in Spokane. It is an amazingly clean, and 99% stock (except the wheels), 1991 rt4wd wagon. It was totaled by the insurance company for some body damage in 2003, and the owner bought it back from the insurance company and fixed it and repainted it. He was an auto mechanic for 16 years and he took immaculate care of this car.

Here are some pictures of 'Pepe' from the Craigslist ad. I havent taken any of my own yet but will soon.

This is really my wife's car for now, but hopefully in a year or so things will pick up again and she can get a newer car and this will be my driver while I restore my first gen.

Thats a clean pick up. From a Mazda5 to a RT Civic Wagon is an upgrade to me. :D

Yeah, we liked our mazda5, it was a good family car, although we were never attached to it and didnt really hate seeing it go. I have been wanting a rt4wd for awhile now and finally found one that was too good to pass up, great timing. I will take some more pics as soon as I get a chance.

A+ for zippy. how much did you pick up the new wagon for? is it manual or auto?

Thanks, I love my first gen civic, I wish I had time and money to get it painted. Soon, I hope. Anyways, we picked up the 91 for $2500. Its a manual, with the 6 speed. We thought it was a pretty good deal since it is in great shape. We probably wont put much into it right now, just drive it around for awhile and keep it running.
  • That first gen wagon is sick!!!!!!
  • fuckin phenomenal!

Where are you at? I am going to sell Bruce probably in the spring: '81 civic wagon with 150k miles I think, I don't remember exactly but its around there. Just needs a tuneup and some new shocks. Pretty clean outside, inside needs new seats. PM me if you are around Washington and interested.
