  • So I take it it's ok to lower a RT4WD? I was wondering if maybe it made the driveshaft angle too weird or something dumb like that.

Wow, is that stock height? That is by far the highest wagon I have seen.
  • looks like the stock height, just really small tires???
  • It was worth it now this wasn't why I sold it though.

And the front actually has 1 coil cut and the rears are heated from what I see

it's lowered now but no pics until tomorrow

    pics my dood.
do you pull the tires everytime you paint those?
  • I like it when my innocent question gets completely bypassed. I guess I am not worthy.

The following posts kind of answered it though. Since many people have lowered RT's I assume there are no negative side effecs to the RWD components.

The rear is just like the front, the angle of the CVs is more parallel with the ground when lowered, but the main driveline from the trans to the diff remains unaltered. Lowering the RTs isn't any more harmful to the drive line than it would be to any other FWD Honda.

good to know, i had the same question thanx say what
  • Will try n update today I have to cut off the exaust and it sits to low I have the old exaust from my old rt that Tucks up nice and tight.

I use a deck of cards or pieces of paper when I paint the wheels but theese will be pulled and powder coated soon

    Looks good.

  • ThaClutcHThaClutcH Senior Wagonist
That should be sick. Thats one of my plans in the future. Like way future after I get my swap and other stuff done too. You check out that thread about purchasing an actual shuttle front clip?
  • what thread? i was just gonna get a ef9 clip
  • ThaClutcHThaClutcH Senior Wagonist
Right here. Hit them up. Seems like its a good deal.

    viewtopic.php?f=9&t=6644
  • i will look into it if not im gonna use the lower part of the ef9 firewall.
the wagon one is taller above the brake booster the lower part looks the same
this keeps my us vin intact and chasis straight when doing it
also if i do it i keep the top rear upper part of the us dash
which aslo keeps my us vin on the dash

not trying to tamper with any vins and stay legit CA sucks

I see. Let us know what you actually do. Yea I moved from CA, shit is too rough out there.
