after a long time away im finally back. this car should be no stranger got it from shenrie yesterday. car is awomse needs some things here and there but definetly needs a satin black paint job. im so glad to have another wagon everyone loves it. plans are to add a traction bar, rebuild the head with ITR valvetrain and cams, headstuds, blockgaurd, along with a JRSC running about 11lbs not shooting for massive power this is gunna be an autocross whore next summer.

    thanx guys im glad i was able to keep it in the family. iffy about satin black..... with the red wheels its gunna be dope! thats the last thing on the list so who knows by the time it comes i might have changed my mind right now i want to get it 100% mechanicly sound, head work, and supercharged then paint can be taken care of.

    I bet you had the biggest grin goin the whole drive back to your place after picking up that wagon. Its gonna be an awesome ride after you tweak it abit. I'm gonna have to shoot over to your neck of the woods to check out the CRV drivetrain do its business. F'n bad ass wagon!!!!

    BUT, its all good cause I know youll do all the things I never got around to doing and it will be a better car by that time. You just reach that point where youve got to much time into a project and have a hard time throwing additional funds at it. Thats just kinda where I was at. I cant tell you how happy I am that your still gonna autox it. Just the thought of that thing stompin down cars it shouldnt be, even without me doing so, just puts a huge smile on my face.

    Its kickass though, cause now I can finish Bills old car, dial in my ST racer for next season AND I just scored a 99 Si motor with CTR pistons and a full comp cams cam/valvetrain package for 600 bucks, which means I can finish my ef9 as well. The chain reaction you stared with some funds will be a good thing...even with a empty spot in mah driveway where the "fast one" usually parked.

    Was good to see ya again Matt. Glad the drive was uneventfull for both of us. And no worries on the calls dood. Whenever is fine. Im sure youll have questions for a little while at least ;)

    It was a hard to sell, but something had to give, 5 Hondas is to many. We are getting rid of our crx to. Bills old wagon should be with us for a while, but I promise Ill check in with everybody when/if we decide to put it up for sale :mrgreen:

    Its funny Matt is going to do the same paint scheme I had picked out in my head. Cant wait to watch the progress.

    wagon had a good day the sloppy clutch pedal is all fixed shifts like a dream now. swapped back the heater control and stereo to stock locations and threw in a new used heater control from the junkyard works perfect now. also put in some new used seats from a blue RT they dont match but i dont care they are solid ill swap the plastics and throw covers on them u will never even tell. took her out on a good drive filled her up with gas and had fun with it first time since i bought it that i realy got to enjoy it. tomarrow im gunna try to put the teg armrest in it, and fix a lil exhaust leak i got after i bottomed out....
