...165's are really a VW size too...for old bugs anyway. The problem is that there's no way they will fit on an 8" wide rim...they will work for your 6.5's but just barely. It's like putting 195's on 8" wheels, it just barely fits and most tire shops won't even do it for you.
Well, after a long day yesterday of helping Frito get his new race car home, I spent most of the day with the family. After getting home from breakfast the rest of the family took a nap, so I had a little time to swap my SSR wheels back on and get the EDM corners in.
Finally got an engine shot. It's nothing special but it's nearly all new
nice build thread shau. i was just lookin throughs and saw u had this. glad ur back in the game man. my wagons on jackstands and has been since december of last year. had some diff issues and then decided to do some other stuff and it just all got outta hand lol. hopefully ill have it bac in one piece soon. much respect tho man
A hot tank . Took all the guts out and had it cleaned chemically.
I was under the impression you did all of that stuff when your family was taking a nap, thats why I was wondering how you cleaned up that tranny so fast. I was wondering how you hot tank the tranny when its still on the car. I figured you meant degreaser and some hot water

Nope, just finally had some pics of the engine/trans so I posted them. The list of stuff in my first post included hot-tanking the trans case.
So does anyone know what headers clear the RT transfer case?
hmm, do i hear groupbuy from S&S for RT headers? hehe, just an idea if nothing else clears. They were pretty reasonable when we had civic 1200 headers made for that forum.
Thanks mang. Using a 4-1 header with some custom hammer work, lol Still hits a bit, just need to do some more custom work.
4-1 seems like it wouldbe the easiest to bend the way you need it, just might have a different position when you hook the cat. conv. up to it. Shifted over or something of that nature.
If you figure anything out Shaun, LMK... Once I get my ZC in, I'm going to have to find a good header combor for the RT4wd. I was thinking of using the cast part(top) of the stock manifold and then building the "downpipe" for it out of bigger tubing, which might work pretty good becasue it will keep the back pressure Honda's need but still be better flowing. Maybe LOL!!
4-2-1 is the best choice for these D16A6's, I'd prefer to stick with that. Guess I'll just have to keep looking at ways to fit a turbo in there while keeping AC and PS.

Oh and they aren't Corrado steelies, my mistake. Not sure what they are but the shells are new, not banded, so that's easily a $100-125 per wheel job.
silver looked good in your pic you had posted of your old wagon.

Slammedtallboy had some headers on his after his ZC swap, he said he had to do some "custom" hammer work but they fit.

Yeah I made a mistake... I'm just glad no one was serious about buying it. I would be going through some serious withdrawls right now
