  • stephenstephen Senior Wagonist
lol, this is funny....especially since it is duct tape, used on ducts......but most people call it duck tape....
  • i like how this website is called honda civic wagon and we are arguing over how you spell duck duct tape
  • stephenstephen Senior Wagonist
i think its hilarious. btw i lowered my wagon before you hahahaha j/k. no really ......

did you figure out how to mount the filler as a lip yet? depending on that and how you trim it i think it will look pretty good.
  • Yeah you did but you also have a job and money i just had money and still dont have a job but yeah i got lowering springs for the rear haha i need some for the front now.

But idk yet i am going to go to auto zone and look at the glues they have, and see if they have some sheet metal screws or something but yeah i wanna put that lip on their
  • stephenstephen Senior Wagonist
i wouldnt say i have money....lol. ask ragenasian, he knows. if i had money i wouldve bought wheels from him months ago....

i got a deal on the springs and a friend (who is an acura tech) and i put em on in his shop. if you hit craigslist and talk to some friends who have hondas you can find some sleeves for pretty cheap - just dont expect the best ride ever.
  • Yeah i might just fix my wagon and then sell it and buy my brothers off of him because he said something one day about selling his wagon on HCW because someone on here would buy it and i told him that i get first dibs because i helped him get it running and i put his lowering springs on for him so yeah idk i think i might have some shop cut the stock springs for me

Seriously, there is something called Duck Tape... but it's a name brand.

They are obviously playing on how people mispronounce "duct tape"... which is for taping over gaps in... your guessed it... ducts !!!
  • in this case the brand/name is TOPTOOLS
its not me, its on the package ...
The origin of the term "duct tape" is the subject of some disagreement.

One view is that it was called "duck tape" by WWII soldiers because it was made from cotton duck, from which their tents, tarpaulins, ponchos and other equipment were made
Some suggest that the waterproof quality of the tape contributed to the name, by analogy to the water-shedding quality of a duck's plumage. Under this view, soldiers returning home from the war found uses for duck tape around the house, where tents were forgotten and ductwork needed sealing ... end quote

we're all trying to achieve correct grammar and spelling, well
in my case, not ever ...
so Lee, there are no dumb questions, answers and or people
    thank you

i guess we're all happy for now and forever
