Me Toobs!!
KID CAME FREE WITH THE CAR...
100% NATURAL RACK
ALL THE DOOR CARDS ARE THIS CLEAN
THIS IS THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR, ANYONE KNOW HOW I COULD GO ABOUT FIXING THIS, LOOKS KINDA LIKE IT JUST BROKE THROUGH THE METAL???
very common. even rust free wagons have this problem... including me :x
good price!
free kid too!
my first was $400 and my second was $500.
with a little work they can turn out nice.
i got both front fenders, driver door, drivers side door trim, rear trunk latch, a new set of wheels, new dx head (mines toast), and a pair of minty crx headlights (i think these fit)
i'll see what i can do about pics after everything is on
anyone else need some parts? good bit of that wagon is still left
Happy constructing and such...
closeups picz are nice
: )
Seriously though... welcome to the club... and happy tinkering !!!
P.S. I have the official Honda Tech Manual for 3rg gen wagons so send me a pm if you need some info and, within 24 hours, I can post pics of the relevant section(s), like what I did for Eagle Beagle's blower problem.
this is the one where you will see the most difference, no more trashed door, fender, or side moulding
wagons are good for storing new and old parts
cleaned up the windows with invisible glass (love this stuff)
getting a new (not broken) head on the car
installed a mirror bar, no blind spots here, saw this done at the eibach meet a few months ago and thought it looked pretty neat
btw, i rebuild the motor and swapped out all the body stuff with the car sitting in front of my apartment in the parking lot, surpisingly no body has complained, most people actually seem kinda curious
that mirror bar thing looks very unique.
Ah man I remember seeing those mirrors on VW's way way way back in the day!!
I think thats a fairly common problem with D-series motors. I hate when you buy a new rotor and after using it for a day, the metal insert is loose inside of the plastic cap. I've argued with some many parts jockies about this but they won't take it back because its an electrical part. :?
the block and crank are from a z6, which is what i'll be building, vitara pistions, garrett 60-1
This is what I was talking about.

That mirror is awesome, I thought of that before consider my '69 BMW has one.
