Hi. Im looking for my engine option for my winter swap. I found 2 engine with 4wd tranny bolt to. Since my tranny have around 230 000miles, and she grind a little between 2 and 3 when high reving. And there is whining sound that i suspect is from trans.
Anyway. I think it would be nice to put a tranny with i supposed less mileage. My question is: do you know if there were d16y7 coupled with 4wd tranny? If no, i would suposed that this engine was to replace an older/blown motor so it may have a lot of mileage.
There is also one with a soch carbed zc (i would use the injection parts of my existing a6 instead of those carbs).
