Vorhizzle's RT build "Suicide Wagon"

Some of you may know the story of this car some may not, a woman apparently shot herself in the driver seat hence the dent in the roof. I picked this up a couple weeks ago with the intentions of doing a clean daily build that has some get up and go but nothing over the top. I am big into function, this car will be the first that has a proper stereo that actually sounds good, has power steering and hopefully feels comfortable to drive. That being said here are some of my plans I will probably start working on this Saturday.

I am not looking to spend a load of money on this car seeing as I already have one huge money pit, but at the same time there are some nice parts I will be buying.

Currently I have the following:
Koni / Ground control set up. Grey extended top hats.
Vitara build d16z6 with full valve train
Precision T4 Turbo 63mm (may be going to a T3 after checking some fitment)
Tial Wastegate
50mm BoV
I also have 2 other Wagons that I need to pull some parts off of for it.
Rear diff bushings from VIP Performance
Blackworks lower control arms

Future plans:
Paint - I am going to stick with a blue still trying to decide on the color.
Swap some interior parts from my other blue wagon to this one.. Going for a clean OEM look on the inside.
My dad and I jokingly talking about making the rear doors suicide doors but it's still a possibility.
Power windows and locks.
Competition Clutch stage 4
Redo brakes, new calipers rotors and pads in the front fresh drums in the rear.
Do the actual engine swap and tune.
Rims: I am looking for a functional stance without being to cambered.. Looking at some 15x7 rims with an offset no less that +25. Plan on wrapping them in a 195 55 15 BFG g-force Sport COMP-2s. I run these tires on my K swap for daily driving and they have a sporty feel while still handling wet conditions (considering I live in Western Washington this is a big plus).

With all of that being said here are some pictures of the car as is.

Took the car on a Mini road trip to Spokane this last weekend. Drove real nice got about 32 mpg on the way there and 35 mpg on the way back.

That's all I have for now.. Some suggestions on wheels and shades of blue would be good. I was thinking maybe Laguna Seca blue but I am pretty sure that is the same color as Bisimoto's wagon and I don't want to look like a biter! Anyways thanks for reading. I will update this as I go.

  • It's been a while since I've updated because, well my shop doesn't have a heater and I am not a huge fan of wrenching in the cold. I finally went down and did a little work today... Which included removing the cylinder head from my vitara build inspecting it and taking to to the machine shop. When I get it back it will be equipped with a complete Crower valvetrain that I've been sitting on forever.. here are some pics.. Any progress is better than none :)

I am waiting on my wiring harness to come back from wireworx and then I should be ready, I may end up going with a smaller T3 turbo instead of the Precision T4 just so I can retain power steering.
  • Good job man. Loving where this is headed. Suicide doors! DO IT!!!

Yeah, I thought suicide doors on the rear would be sweet for sure. Its on my list for eventual mods to my wagon, but due to $ and effort, its waaaaay down on the list.
