Judy: snow time in the 509

Those of you that follow me online know I picked this up some weeks back. turbo_teg was gracious enough to let me take the car off his hands before it was paid off. Just stored the car at work until I had the funds to get it registered and fix the couple things it needs.
Literally haven't done a thing to the car besides clean it (sort of my thing) so far. But now the time has come!
I give you Judy! (Jane's daughter lol)

Looks like a battery exploded at some point. But I don't care. the car is 99% rust free and has stupid clean interior.

The only real physical bummer... but considering what we did to my last RT, this is nothing. I wanted an RT that I could get dirty unlike my last one.

Summary: Good car. Needs some things. Currently working on replacing both rear wheel bearings. Needs a whindshild, speed cable (I think), and a muffler. I paid more for this car than I have all but my very first (stupid clean 91 w/ 130k). But the deal was good. Matt gave me an insane amount of parts, and held the car while I came up with the cash. I can't say enough nice things about turbo_teg! A+++ guy!
My plan is to make this a killer winter rig. And I don't mean a bunch of fancy shit like a turbo or a basket. I'm talking block heater, auto start, nice stereo, heated/power mirrors, power windows, and an overall freshening up of the drivetrain. I recently picked up a D16A6 that has a freshly rebuilt head and I'm planning to do the bottom end. turbo_teg gave me an extra transmission with the car, that I'm planning to have rebuilt. Probably send my VC to VIP Performance and have them rebuild it this summer. Along with u joints and such. Also got some new RTA bushings with the car I'll install this summer along with most other bushings.
I'm gonna try and do a write up for everything I do for this car. That's the goal anyway. I plan on spending minimal, and doing everything I can myself. Currently working on a write up for the wheels bearings. As luck would have it they're being total bitches lol
OE pieces came w/ car:
rear speaker pods
nice floormats
mudflaps
too many extra parts to list
First things first:
wheel bearings
speedo (cable?)
power steering gaskets
windshield
new wipers front/rear
muffler
snow tires
mods up first:
amber corners
armrest
new media reciever
speakers front/rear
tint
Ford Aerostar luggage rack
DA maplight
DA sway bar
I hope to have this list knocked out before our snow meet at the end of January. Tint and stereo being the last things. But we'll see. Everything could change. Money is always the factor lol
I don't know why, but I insisted on immediately getting new hatch shocks. Always wanted them. Not really sure why I didn't splurge in the past haha
