Oops, I did it again... say hello to my new long-term project!

Sold the white 2wd to piperotto. Unfortunately, as amazing of condition as it was in, it's just not something I wanted to build long term. He's going to give it a good home...
Anyway, big ass plans for this. Needs a head gasket and clutch as it sits. I just picked up an A6 that I'll be throwing in hopefully next week just to get it running. Probably won't do a damn thing on it until the winter. I'm just happy to have a grey one for a change.
Not to mention, I love cleaning up cars. And this one right here.... GROSS lol

=] jealous of your find here
excited for the updates to come
Threw a battery in, and fired up like she'd been running all day! I was told the car would 'steam'. Being nearly 2 quarts of antifreeze low, I'm not surprised lol We topped it off with coolant, and let her run for about 15 minutes w/o a problem.
Also, appears to have a broken clutch cable. I'll need to investigate some more this weekend. But I'm hoping to get lucky!
busted pedal assembly
hole in the radiator
Hopefully pickup these things next week and get her on the road!
good luck on this one yo!
also - fuk that wiring mess!
#POW.
Got home, decided to carfax the S2000 I was going to buy...
Bought the wagon back this morning...
LOL
Classic.
Good decision!
Soooo... I almost bought an S2000. Sold everything I could. At the last minute I backed out. We ended up playing with the car quite a bit. Some of the guys came over and helped fix the busted pedal assembly and swap in a new (used) radiator. All seemed very well. Put some miles on it and seemed strong. We quickly did a MPFI swap and I continued to put some miles on it.
After about 200 miles w/o problem, I decided to start throwing some money at it. As I had just sold everything I could lol I bought some Si wheels with and replaced the rubber. Got the full exhaust redone. Tuned up everything I could. Brand new distributor, filters, o2 sensor, etc, etc. Everything I could. The bitch was running like a top... for about 100 miles lol
The week before Forum Fest in Seattle, she started to smoke quite a bit on start up. And started to go through an insane amount of coolant. Sure enough, the head gasket really was blown. Unfortunately (not really), summer is a retardedly busy time for me. And I have a truck at work, so I drove that and took a painstaking 6 weeks to redo the head gasket. But I did it right. Bought some new tools to do it. Bought new head bolts, had the head milled, did as much as I could.
Mid August I finished her off and got her back on the road. Back to running like a champ! Quickly threw some Ground Controls on her, and enjoyed the nice weather while we had it.
I still have a small coolant leak that I've been putting off. Mostly because I recently bought an RT and I'm getting ready to take this one off the road for the winter. This was long winded and I'm sure most won't read, here's a pic from when it was first lowered. I've since raised it to a bit more comfortable level. I've got a bunch of pics from my phone I'll post up later this week. Just felt she deserved a bump!
Now for more of the RT!
This is the hole where I spend most of my days. Boss was out of town, so I parked where I felt like parking lol
One of covey's lifted RT in front of my 2wd
'Sunset Hill' in Spokane, Washington
Industrial park on my way home from work
Where I eat most nights lol
In between Rathdrum, Idaho and Spokane
Yesterday morning
Teaser of my RT... should be on the road in the next couple weeks. Gotta get it registered and take care of a couple things. Very excited for snow!
I say STOCK!
Pulled the 2wd in to check fluids and vacuum her out.
