front end woe's

when i spin up my front wheels by hand, they have a drag on certain points during it's rotation.

freeeeee...drag...freeee...drag...freeee and so on.

this can't be normal can it.

    hmmm i don't get any vibration to speak of during breaking though, that's the strange thing. maybe i have a bad bearing that's not making noise...

    Could be a rotor warped enough to drag but not vibrate when braking but most likely a bad bearing or a loose one from what you describe. Pretty easy fix either way and about the same solution. I usually replace the wheel bearings when taking off rotors anyway or at least a good grease repacking if you know they were replaced recently.

    You must also consider that you're turning cv joints, axles, and transmission when turning that wheel. Don't worry about it.

    maybe i will try swapping the rotors from side to side. that should tell me if it's the rotor at least.
