alternator -- buying a replacement (dealer vs online)

hello,

my alternator is on its way out in my 91rt. after digging through the forums, it seems that most folks recommend the re-manufactured denso's as the best option. a local dealer has quoted me about $250 for a rebuilt one. however, i see much cheaper options available online (around 150... here are a few examples):

http://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/1991/honda/civic/engine_electrical/alternator.html
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA08C0CH6458
http://www.carpartsdiscount.com/auto/parts/91/honda/civic/alternator_generator/alternator_rebuilt.html?3593=71096

so here is my question: is the extra price the dealer would charge worth it? are there levels of quality control i should be concerned with at the other vendors?

any help is greatly appreciated. or if anyone can recommend a trustworthy place to buy a re-manufactured denso, that would be great too.

thanks,
s
