me and my bro were gettin way to zippy next to some train tracks like 35 40 i came around a bend and slammed the brakes because there was some steal sticking out of the ground. BAM! car comes to a dead stop blew the radiator and My brother and I slammed our heads against the windshield.

yea it wasnt that bad but we felt like dumb asses because our buddy was in the back seat with his belt on laughing uncontrolably
  • ThatDoodleThatDoodle Council Member
Wow . so you hit the steel?
  • D8237D8237 New Wagonist
yea when i slammed the brakes and the front got lower to the ground and just caught the highest piece i might have made it if i would have just kept going but it also could have got alot worse.
  • That doesn't sound very fun. I'm surprised that you don't get it stuck, but I guess it is as good as a 4wd truck just without lockers and extra ground clearance.
  • D8237D8237 New Wagonist
it keeps up with most average trucks I got stuck once do to big mud tire ruts but it pulled right out she climbs hills easy and fits down most atv trails

im tryin to get my wagon ready for this winter does any one know what kind of money i will need to replace my clutch also which auto parts stores carry the clutch that i need some places have told me they have never heard of a civic 4wd.
  • You can use any 89-91 SOHC civic clutch...i'd just ask for a 91 CRX Si clutch to eliminate any confusion.
  • Do you have any pics of it doing some serious 4wd'in?

Incorrect. All those years have the same splinecount, but the 90-91 clutchs/flywheels are not intgerchangable with the 89. The 90-91 flywheel and clutch are larger diameter than the 89.
  • you sir are my roll model. everytime i go to turn my wagon into a dirt slinger i change my mind
