Sixbelows RT4WD progress and my AE86 Drifter

I figure i would update this now that I actually have a wagon now, I found one in late Feb '10, a Red RT4WD Auto from spokane. I Drove it for a few months, but a bad head gasket cut my summer short. I took a few months away from the wagon, and sourced another D16a6 block n head from my buddy (for free YAYYY) and rebuilt it bottom up, inside n out. I just finally got around to doing the swap from the bad motor, actually only did it a few weeks ago now. I have to say I did a great job lol- Ran perfect right out the gate, no issues at all and still have my AC and all. SOOO as a reward to myself, I bought a set of coilovers F2 T2's and just barely put em on. other items Ive gotten since buying the wagon include- Yakima rack with bike rack and snowboard rack. Integra LS webs wrapped in OEM sized Falken Ziex's. I bought a couple Odyssey underseat storage bins and installed those, and a nice Peachy Peach pine tree air freshener.

Here is a quick Photo gallery of my last year of wagon fun!!!!! and also my AE86 Progress over the year also- getting ready for an awesome 2011 Drift season!

Waggin the first day I got it.

how do the type 2's ride?
    even slammed like that.
  • sixbelowsixbelow New Wagonist
they actually ride well, I have another inch on the rear to go loower and 2 inches up front also. Its a little bouncy still, but I still need to fine tune the dampening. I love it though!
  • Very nice!

AE86 is sick! I went and looked at a TE72 the other day. I wanted it so bad but I have no where to park it and cheapest storage I found was $40 a month.

Finally got some new shoes for the wagon!

Stance Emotion (work equip knock offs made for Miatas) 15x8 +25 running Falken Ziex 512 195/50R15 stretched

should wrap your visors as well to match the headliner.
  • sixbelowsixbelow New Wagonist
ya I am going to, but I want to get them sewn and wrapped around, so Im talking my mom into it lol.
  • Perfect combination of cars. I have a Levin AE86 and a wagon as well (unfortunately neither of my run since they are both projects). Nice cars!
  • sixbelowsixbelow New Wagonist
Ya Ive seen your cars on here- that levin is sooo sick. I would kill for a Levin front end. Kill for one! lol My 86 is a project too, the dude I got it from totally effed up the wiring and pieced together a mess of wires to get it running. I have since replaced almost all harnesses, but still, for some weird reason, the running lights will NOT turn on at all. So i had to run a manual switch for em, its gonna have to work for now till I can pinpoint where the wiring is screwed up. :(

But it gets the job done, I get out there and compete in Boise Drift and local SCCA events every season and I would never get rid of the car, even after driving s13s and 350z's 300zx's RX7's, Miatas etc, I will always love the AE86 chassis. My brother also has on with a SR20DET in it, and my other buddy has one with a F20C (s2k ) motor! Sweeeettt i tell you!

I love your wheels, Can decide on those or drag dr20's. The 20's are like 400 cheaper. Anyway nice.
  • I would like to see more pictures of the wagon and those stance wheels if possible. I want to get the gold mindset. I'd like to see how much they poke if you know what I mean, just some different angles. If you could do that, that would be sweet. thanks man and those rims do look sweet.

Hey gang i haven't been keeping up on HCW recently, but I had a few extra minutes, so here's an update!

how much camber am I running? I really dont know, Its just stock but lowered a lot. I took a pic of the rears and fronts to get an idea. All I know is, my tires are already shot after 1 year of driving

these cars are looking really good man. now you need to put some rims on the ae86 cause it is looking sexy so far and I like how the wagon sits on those rims .
  • sixbelowsixbelow New Wagonist
    Thanks man.
Ya i have been looking for the right set of wheels for the 86, the car will be painted white here soon, and I want a good set of old school, rareish 14x7 or 14x8. preferably -10 offset or so. SSR Long champs, Sakuras etc is what i want! :D Next is getting the 86 more low. I really want to scrape some frame sideways!
  • schutt721schutt721 Wagonist
wagon looks clean! A set of Sakuras would be sick on the 86!
