1Fastboy's Wagon

Sup! You wagon fanatics.., here is my build for you viewing pleasure. Im starting with a 89 2wd bone stock wagon that I got back in May of 2011.
I'll play catch up with just a list of mods and repairs thus far followed by some "almost" wagon porn (She's not sexy yet).
-Sound deadening throughout, Used Peel'n Seal. (Pain in the ass)
-Tinted winders
-Insulation on floor and headliner. Used some mylar bubble wrap type stuff. Same stuff used on firewalls.
-Recovered headliner with some color matched felt.
-Mild stereo upgrade, Kenwood deck,JL C2 components,Rockford Fosgate 500W (Components) and 250W (Sub) amplifiers, single Farad cap.
-Automatic Door lock and rear hatch actuators and alarm system.
-Yellow Top Bat
-Wink Mirror with custom LED lighting
-Rear cargo area LED lighting
-Front strut bar, Cpillar bar
-LED bulb replacements all around
-Side Winkers
-JDM rear tails ( blacked out inside)
-JDM Front corners
-HID 3K Low Beam
-HID 6K Hi Beam
-PS Mirror
Day I brought it home.

And Strip it for some love from the inside.

DS door

Got all the interior back in and stereo wired up sorry no photos of that. Moving on..
Wink mirror installed with a little bit of LED enhancement..Yep it bright.

Rear Cargo LED installed along with Cpillar bar.

HID lookin bright...

Love them LED's.

Getting my Wink on..

JDM tails(before)

Cant leave good enough alone, make it better or make it worse trying..Bust them open with some heat and patients. Broken edge but fixable.

Black plastic paint after a couple of hours removing adhesive and loose junk.

Ditched these thingys.

Back together with some 3M Sillicone.

Comments
It made a huge difference in road noise. way Less vibration too. With the stereo on a at a good volume the panels are not vibrating as much as they would but I'm also only running 750W and a single 12" sub. Peel N' Seal is not meant for cars but it works just fine. Its not as thick as Dynamat but honestly I think the overall difference is negligible.
I got the Engine split from the trans and onto the engine stand. So far all is looking good including the trans so I’m crossing my fingers there are no surprises when get into things further. Nuff talk, pics....
