Ideal offset for a track set of wheels?

So im looking to get a set of wheels that i will be using on the track, road racing track days etc. Im wondering what you guys think is a good offset for that? Im trying to get some 15x8's but idk if i should go with a et25, or et35? What would you suggest?

I would say the highest offset that fits well.

+35et would be good. The 949 racing wheels are 15x8 +36 et.

Any lower offset and you will have issues when running semi slicks as they have quite a large sidewall and you obviously wont be stretching them onto the wheels

Anything under +35 will likely rub if you are lowered.

Personally I would look into a set of 15x7 RPF01's and good 205/50/15 tires. They are extremely light and priced pretty cheap for what they are.

How would a staggered setup fit, like et35 in the front, et25 in the back?

You would ideally want the lower offset on the front for less understeer

Often in Japan cars will have bigger diameter lower offset wheels on the front then just little 14" on the rear as they just drag along anyway
